I didn't forget about your pics I promise.  Also, this all seems familiar...   ;)

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure from the pics i've seen that there's less clearance where i need it.

I'm not sure what you've built, but i'm hardly copying you if that's what you're implying.   ;)

Wow... amazing build, I had one hand on my junk reading this thread.  (I have lots of junk around here... all you get your minds out of the gutter! lol! )

Your Turbo setup is about what I imagined while dreaming about a one day sweet fd.  Lots of power... but not too crazy :-)  GJ!

Looking great! I originally wanted to mount my turbo just like that on my S2000 using headers similar to your last ones. I just didnt like the way it was starting to look after getting the driverside manifold done.

Whsts up Bryan it Justin. Somehow I stumbled across pictures of your and Tracy's car and they ended up leading me to this rotard forum. I see that you're updating your thread as you make forward progress with your car so I figured that I would join this forum to subscribe to your build thread. As usual your car is coming along nicely with high attention to detail lime always!

I have to be honest and say that I am really impressed with acquired welding and fab skills! Your garage fab work and welding is coming along nicely. With that being said I'm curious as to why you're going with the cast manifold as opposed to trying to utilize those nice merge collector  321ss headers that Tracy had originally built for you? IMO I think that all you have to remake is a new crossover and downpipe setup.

Ill hit you up one day this week. I need to stop by so we can catch up and to checkout the progress on your yellow hooptie.... I will bring beer

I finally set some time aside to work on the rx.  I decided to tackle a lot the misc smaller projects i have going on the car.  (the rear end, brakes, roll bar, etc).

I finished up the 8.8 / DSS axle install first. my 3:27's had some excessive wear, so i bought a set of 3:31's from a friend.
The mazda 4:10's were sucking, this will be much better.

Once the rear was in, I started on the Samberg rollbar. It was a tight enough fit that I starting worry about it not bolting up
A few hours and some patience got it done. This is one install that would have been easier/faster with a second set of hands.

Due to the rear subframe being out, the brakes needed to be bled so today i did some brake work.
I decided to flush the entire system with ATE super blue.

It feels good to have the back half of the car together.  :)

There's no way this could seem familiar to you.  This car has been running and driving for a very long time.

unless you own a turbo ls9 rx7 you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.
