You'll need to trim where indicated.  Your cradle is a ps style but there's not room.

I have an LT1/T56 in an FC as well.  I had to pull my motor to replace the power steering rack for the same reason, because of these lines.  This is one reason I would love to see a Ronin-Pez style mounting kit available, with pedistals that are for an LT1.

Make an adapter plate to convert the SBC pattern to a LS pattern, or maybe the Ronin guys could whip up pedstals in a SBC engine mount pattern.

What is a Ronin Style kit ?

Can we just have a different style hard line hose kit ?

Ronin's LS1 FC conversion mounts.   WAAAAAAAAAY more clearance vs. Grant's setup.

Part of the issue, as you can see, with Granny's is where the rack puts the lines.   The Ronin kit doesn't have that issue.

Ah , now I get it .

The Ronin's kit is nice I went on the web site and took a look at it.

Sad they don't have one for a LT1 FC because I'd buy one.

Me too.  I emailed them on their website a couple weeks ago but haven't heard anything back.  Maybe if enough people show interest, they might make LT1 pedistals?

BTW, can't wait to see the finished product on the electric p/s setup.  I might look into doing this myself.

I shot Joel a message about Gen I & II pedestals, and he's gonna look into it after they get some other Ronin projects out of the way.

I'm working on it , slowly but surely .

Jan 15th 2012.

Did some work on the project .

I have installed the power steering rack on the subframe to test fit hoses clearance and yes Dennis was right I had to grind the subframe a little to be able to install one of the 2 hose but no need for the right ( sitting in the car ) hose.

On the final install I'll slightly bend the line to leave a small gap here.

Rack is in place and fits perfectly no need to hammer the pan .

So I took everything off the car again and I'll send a bunch of parts to the powder coating.

I'm not ready to work on the hoses setup yet since I want to move my Alternator to the left lower side ( sitting in the car's view ) for adding A/C with a bracket kit bought from ..HawksThirdGenParts.. so the alt. may be in the way.

Good to see it fit .  There was no way the pass side line on my subframe would fit.

Jan 23rd 2012.

My subframe is still at the Powder coating so while cleaning the hard lines on my used Power steering rack from a 86-88 Turbo II , I've destroyed one of the hard line.
I've ordered a set of new one from Mazda but I cannot get the right one for one side ( the one I've destroyed ) so I finally found a place locally that rebuilt Steering rack so my stock 89 Steering rack when there and came back to me like new and tested.
Hope it will still fit the subframe since I know now they are slightly different.

Since I had no work on the car to do I've decided to add a few "neon" lights on the lower part of 2 walls so I can get good lightning under the car .

My 2"X10" are holding perfectly the motor and transmission in place.

Since I was under the car I've decided to do some touch up on the frame rails.
