1993 LsX Rx7 FD3S R1 Edition
« on: December 01, 2011, 12:52:30 AM »
Alright guys.... So I decided to hold off on selling the car and invest in a paint job hoping that it will have a more chance of selling this later on. Since no one is really a fan with the flush/stance look of the wheels, I will sell those and use that money for a quality paint job. If someone does decide that they are interested still, feel free to shoot me a pm.

Thanks

You should try fixing some of the simple items that you mention dont work or having problems with and it would probably sell faster. Otherwise the car seems to look good at the right angles and somewhat clean except for the bad spots. I didnt notice but how many miles are on it.

Not trying to thread crap but your ratings seems a little generous.. Needs a lot of bodywork and wheels that fit... Just my opinion...

Don't really think its smog legal. Other wise you would see the smog plate rivited to the firewall. That intake would never pass alone. I also don't see an EGR set up.

I think he means he just had it smogged so it's good for three months. If you buy it now you won't have to smog it.

Thanks guys for the great positive comments.  As for the negative ones, that is why I leave those type of questions for the serious buyers to ask.  There is no lie in anything that i've posted about this car, but that's why as a buyer your suppose to do your research and look at the car for yourself in the first place before purchasing right?

Actually, I got the car smogged earlier this year and I just got my new 2012 tags recently, which should be good  for the next two years or so from what the DMV told me.

So I did some research on the heads for all of you wondering if the heads are really from a z06, and I have to apologize that they are actually Ls1 heads. I don't have the contact number or anything from the previous owner to confirm if they really are or maybe he meant that they were ported, but I don't want to sugar coat anything. Although, I can confirm that the engine has an Ls6 intake manifold.

Regardless, I decided to lower my asking price for the price difference of an Ls6 crate engine and Ls1 crate engine according to Hinson's pricing, which is only about a 300-400 difference. My new asking price has been posted up top, again I am sorry for the false advertising and please don't think this is a scam or anything.

Thanks
