Mazda RX7 (FD3s) w/ LS1 - PRICE DROP $15,500
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:06:30 PM »
THE CAR HAS BEEN PAINTED AND HAS INTERIOR!  PICS ON PAGE 4!!!

NOW PAINTED

I'm selling because I need to pay off student loans, save up for a house, and other grown-up things.  If it doesn't sell, I'll probably fix the little things and try to get a little more out of it next year.  This thing is a head-turner like you wouldn't believe (super dirty in these pics though).

The car runs great.  It needs a few things, but overall its in really solid shape.

CHASSIS
93 rx7 w/ ~82k miles
- custom gray paint (PRIMER HAS NOW BEEN PAINTED!!!)
- Shine Carbon Fiber spoiler & OEM R1 front lip
- custom hella HID headlights
- Stance GR+ Coilovers
- SSR Professor SP1 18x9.5 & 18x10 wheels
- quick release black 'JDM' steering wheel
- 13% Lumar tint ($200)

ENGINE  360hp/360tq on conservative hptuners tune
- LS1/T56 6-speed w/ ~20k original miles and 1000 miles on tranny rebuild
- spec aluminum 3+ clutch/ fidanza aluminum flywheel/ aluminum driveshaft
- 3-core Ron Davis aluminum radiator
- new waterpump, thermostat, alternator, oil cooler, road-racing oil-pan baffle
- TSP 228r cam w/ lots of reliability parts (prc dual valve springs w/ ti retainers, ls2 timing chain, ported/shimmed LS6 oil pump, etc.)
- 1 7/8" JTR coated longtube headers
- custom dual exhaust
- Optima redtop battery

Tons more modifications.  For a complete list, email:  skyeighty at gmail dot com

things that need attention:
oil pan gasket needs replaced - small leak
powersteering pump intermittently works
headlights need finisher pieces
rear quarter needs paint (body work done and I have the paint)
interior needs to be installed (some tan, some black)
hood needs to be wetsanded

Send me a text or email if you're seriously interested only.
Price: $16,500$15,500

It appears that you have eliminated your ABS but I don't see any brake lines crossing the firewall... How did you run them?

If you look in the right upper corner of that engine bay pic, you can see the Wilwood brake-bias controller.  I bent new stainless lines for the fronts and the rear lines are stock.  The line that goes to the passenger side of the car goes behind the dash on the inside of the car and then out through the wheel-well.  I used rubber grommets on the firewall so that the sheetmetal can't rub through the lines.

Would you consider selling the wheels seperately?

^That's how I feel.  I've easily spent $30k on this.  The sunroof is closed in one picture.  Camera phone pics look a little distorted, but I'll get some more detailed pics up if anyone is interested.

Unfortunately this is the only set of wheels I have and I'm just really not looking to part it out.

*NOTE:  I have the rear corner marker and the black plastic piece that goes in front of the rear wheel (not shown)

People keep asking about the title.  The car has a clean Oklahoma title and was painted 3 years ago.

Sure.  I'm going to take more pictures of the interior and engine on Tuesday.  Is there something particular you would like me to get a photo of?
