OK, just did that. It didn't work but I still like the fact that it takes out the slack and now I can control where it catches. High/low.

Here's the update on the symptom. It wasn't the mechanical system at all. I always turned the engine on when trying the gears but I just found out that all I have to do is put the key in the "ON" position and it will lock me out of the 2nd and 3rd gear. Can something in the ECU do this?

Again, as soon as the car starts to move, everything is is fine. But it's definitely something electrical -> mechanical.

OK, for some reason, I don't see a connector that goes to the reverse lockout. I got my harness from Speartech, did I totally have a brain fart and miss this?

I'm an idiot. I had the reverse lockout plugged into the skip shift.  :poke:

Well slap me silly and call me Sally, I feel sooooo stupid. Not only was the connection the problem, now the clutch feels like butter. Doesn't feel notchy, goes into reverse without any effort whatsoever. Man do I feel stupid!

Note: If your clutch feels hard to shift, that's not normal.

Can you take any pics of what you had swapped? I want to double check mine. Mine does feel notchy. That is a good way to describe it.

I doubt you made the same mistake. Only reason I made the mistake was due to not labeling the T56. I was just going by Speartech's harness. Basically connect it to the nearest plug method. If you look in the diagram, the reverse lock is #89. I had it plugged into skip shift #173. They are the same plug. Speartech says its a common mistake.

Easy mistake to make, don't be so hard on yourself.    Car looks amazing, I like the new hood way better too.

My Z06 and the Seven has almost identical Dyno curves. The Seven feels twice as fast. It's scary fast. It even feels faster than when I had the turbo 13b. What suspension are you guys running. I need this car mostly for the street and it does feel a little hard. I have it on the softest setting but it's still rough. I have Tien RA's.

Well of course if feels faster than the 13B-REW, LOL...  It's almost twice the horsepower and torque (255 hp and 217 lb-ft of torque stock)

Wait until you get that 8:8.  I think your springs rates are 10kg.F 8kg.R on those Tein's.  Whatever you think is comfortable is pretty subjective, so just see if there are softer springs.

Those mirrors are nice, but I'm trying to just keep the stock look. I'm fighting myself to put a wing on. Everytime I get the urge, I just pull up a car with a Veilside kit or something alongs that line and it satisfies my hunger. The car just looks clean naked.
