Okay kids, I have a dilemma, look at where the head meets the block.[attach=1] It's always wet[attach=2]. It never sees the floor nor do you ever see it on the block. It's due to my mistake in not using enough sealant around the head bolts during installation.

So, do I rip it open to redo the head gasket? or do I drive it until it gets worse. I finally got this thing up and want to rag it out a bit. What do you guys think? Could it cause potential problems?

Weird, weird, weird! No leaks now. It stopped leaking. Don't get it but I'm not gonna touch it. Weird......

On another note, more jewelry!

Coil pack covers? Where do you get those? I like the oil cap too.

So clean... I love it.

ETA: I noticed one of your pictures had finished loading after I posted.  :yay: Car looks beautiful! I like how the front fender looks where the vent is totally blended in, that's interesting.

That would be the next best thing to a cover. Where did you get em?

Down the rabbit hole we go...

ETA: But it would not be too hard to make covers. There are many people here who could do a one-off for you.

That's your truck payment you mean, or the price of some hardware? IIRC the 12 I got cost me a little less than $100 at the time. Another thing you could do is use stainless nuts.

ETA: I found the invoice. At the time, it was 12 x TIFLN10FG M10x1.25 @ $8.91 each, so $106.92 total.

I was referring to the billet coil pack covers. Truck payment is 600/month for the next 67 months  :'(

What is that? ETA: I think from looking at pics on Google Images that it's "just" an IRS 8.8"? Cobra or Explorer or what?

PS: You could re-size some of these (ETA: I mean, for future reference...in other words, before you post it, you could re-size some of these types of pics), like that picture above, to something less than six megapixels if you wanted. Even like 2560x1600. I promise that's the last time I'll mention it. :yay: It's possible I'm the only person here, for whom it takes a long time when I try to expand them.

Yes, you are correct. I don't' even know what all I need. I knew I needed this, the cradle, and I think I need the axles. I'm not sure about the driveshft but that shouldn't be too hard to source out.

I just noticed the settings on the phone. It was at 8 megapixles!!!!! No wonder they were coming out so darn big ::)

LOL, actually, I just lowered the maximum size allowed on the forum for attachments a bit.   We eat up lots of server space with giant images.  ;)

You need axles, mounts and a new driveshaft.    The Driveshaft Shop has driveshafts and axles ready to go for that.

Hahahaha, I drove it for 2 days. I'm working on the hood but the guy I bought it from didn't tell me the hood had been damaged and fixed. Fixed badly! So I have a new OEM hood on the way. But I did manage to pick this baby up. My buddy did some turbo mumbo jumbo mods and is pushing 600+ at the wheels. It's a 02 TT AWD and by far the best handling car I've ever driven!

Dang man you must be hard up for cash. Listen, i know building these swaps can wipe out the wallet but lowering yourself to have to drive a POS daily driver like that is inexcusable.

Tell you what I will ship down my 1993 Suzuki Swift and will even cover shipping for your ride to get up here. I KNOW i know; this is a noble and very charitable act but I pride myself in helping others in need.
