congrats Richard!

racing went OK for me, they let me run Saturday, got eliminated in 2nd round by 0.0036 seconds, but got in a few more passes too.... 11 total.

Sunday was a bust- rain killed the racing.

I put down 363 rwhp & 355 ftlbs (but it was pretty humid). I was within 5% of the numbers (380 & 382 respectively) I put down 1-1/2 years ago on the same dyno (Corksports). Not bad all things considered. I am a little surpised that it didn't do more considering I had it tuned at a local race shop (guys I actually trust) and their dyno showed 409 rwhp and 405 ftlbs (although it was the same make of dyno as Corksports). The car does feel stronger since the tune.

I think it's time for a heads, intake and cam upgrade (winter project??), need to keep my numbers respectable  ;) . I would really like to put down around 450 to wheels.
Richard.

I'm a pretty big fan of head/cam combos as you know  :D . with 6.0L and even a mild cam with budget heads, 450whp would be easy!  do you remember what HP won the highest dyno award?

Oh yeah the highest number was another FD with a JZ engine swap and one huge turbo. He ran 627 rwhp (forgot the ftlbs numbers) and he was pretty much running on 5 cylinders! Those Surpa motors are one stout engine.

Come to think of it my FD may have been the highest NA number run that day.  :P

They were having trouble with the torque calibration for the second half of the cars dyno'd. I managed a 325whp and 336wtq. I would like to put down 430-450whp, just not sure the best (cheapest) route to get there :)

93silverbullet, you have by far the cleanest fd i have ever seen, rotory or not! Props to you
