1995 Mazda Rx7
« on: July 02, 2011, 04:24:43 AM »
I'm testing the waters on maybe selling the Rx-7.

Make: Mazda
Model: rx7
Year:1995
Vin: JM1FD3339S0400292
Price: $10,000 firm

KBB is $15k with the mileage and options, but I'm not expecting to get that.

The bad:
- Rear Driver side quarter panel needs body work
- Clear Coat is peeling by the sunroof
- Car will need to be painted eventually.

The good:
- It is a 95' with just over 74,000 miles
- I am the second owner.
- Cold Cold A/C
- Interior is not missing any pieces and other wise immaculate, except for driver side enter/exit wear on seat.
- PEP package - sport mirrors, sunroof, foglamps. (all still work)

Pretty much all I can think of right now. If you have any questions, feel free to text me, 225-202-004seven.

I'll get some interior pics up soon, I'll leave it local with SNI and NOSR for a couple of weeks and then it will go on ebay.

I didn't see any market place rules with guidelines on what to include in a forsale thread.

What am I missing? I will add it immediately.

sorry i didnt mean to imply there was a rule.  i was just thinking a location would be helpful.  also one would assume its a running rotary motor in it?

I think he meant some info that will help with the sale such as why the door/fender are black.  Is it lowered?  If so what's been done to the suspension.  What's the history of the car, how long have you had it, tire condition/size, engine mods/maintenance, wheels painted or powder coated?  This is just some stuff I thought of in the minute or so after looking at your add that would help a potential buyer make up his/her mind.  Normally you may not need to say it's got the stock engine in it but this is a forum for cars with swapped engines so you may want to state that it's not a V8.  I'm not interested in the car, just trying to help.  Good luck with the sale!

Norotors is far and away the best car forum on the Internet, bar none.

- The door/fender is black because of a side-swipe, and those are OEM Mazda pieces that are the replacements. The door was the last OEM mazda driver side door available in the United States.
- The car is stock ride height
- The car is one owner and as far as the maintenance, i bought it from a repair shop in town because the owner did not want it anymore.
- Tires have about 80% tread left.
- Stock rotary engine

It is a regular virgin rx7, it has not been messed with at all.

What number is it? The last three numbers in the VIN.

I posted the vin in the first post, the last three numbers are 292.
