What an amazing and inspiring build. I literally just read the whole thing from start to finish. I really like your gauge light setup and wish I had the skills to do that. I would actually pay someone to do that to my gauges. Thread has been added to my favorites.
Thanks! We actually have a forum vender that is putting together a service to do it for people. It's not exactly how I do it in this thread, but the result is pretty much the same. Check it out:

I was like, hey, someone else is doing Speedhut clusters?!
Then I was like,
Thanks Lane. So this thing is 'done'? Runs good, looks good, and has functional A/C?
Haha! Nah, I'm sending anyone that asks me about the conversion your way these days. In fact, I'll change the link in my sig to point to your thread.
'Done' is such perminent word. It's very close, but not done. Off the top of my head these are the things I have left to do:
Install and aim HID headlights (HID projector headlights are built, wiring is complete, and popup assemblies are installed; I just have to install and aim).
Remove speedhut fuel pressure sensor and gauge to send back to Speedhut for repairs (I've completed the initial support diagnostics).
Run new RCA line from the headunit location to the rear amp location (I cut accidentally cut through the one I already had installed during the carpet installation)
Install door handles
Finalize install of center console
Install new mint ebrake handle
Install redline goods shifter and ebrake boot
POR15 seat rail sliders and glove compartment catch
Finalize seat-belt install and install seat belt buckles.
Diagnose why my windhield wiper motor isn't actuating (electrical)
Forever Black my windhield wiper cowl
Either figure out how to get the springs reinstalled in my powdercoated wipers or buy new ones

Work out insurance for a month or so
Drive the car for a few weeks and street tune
Remove door beltline mouldings and above door mouldings so my painter can cut in that area
properly.
Remove sunroof moulding
Remove rear lights
Remove rear bumper
Return car to painter to get the paint redone
Reassemble the parts I took off before paint
Have exhaust welded to fit my car
Tune on a load bearing dyno
Profit?

So. It's very close, but not quite there. Now that I'm married, It's harder than ever to get large chunks of time to work on any one thing, so I usually have to do it in 1 hr chunks, which as any of you know, is almost worthless on a project like this. Ah well. It'll happen one day
