Working on an idea for my engine mounts, to grab the bolt above and below the pedestal. This is the upper part (made of 4130 ("chromoly"), the big washers are H11 tool steel) the lower part that the main bolt threads into doesn't exist yet, so use your imagination. :yay:

[attachimg=1]-8 Fuel Y tube. I'm using fittings and lines that have the biggest possible bore for the dash size (flexible PTFE hoses neck down internally).

I also cut up these preformed stainless tubes from an M1 tank. I have several more of these assemblies for fabrication use. I like the flare-less/inverted 12° MS219 flare stuff a little better than the AN 37° stuff.

Is a hacksaw a tube cutter? Then yes.

I have a band saw now, rather I have a bimetal blade for it, I did that with an angle grinder lol. I don't have a tube cutter yet.

I don't have that much metric stuff in fancy alloys. This is the closest I have to that, gr 10.9 HHCS

You can order from probolt-usa.com for stainless, 7075 and 6Al-4V metric stuff.
