I dont have any good pics of either but I took a couple pics of the fitment of the 29.5s.

Not sure if that will work as i am on my phone.

The 29.5s looked HUGE, filling up the entire wheel well but the 28s look tiny. It's crazy how much difference there is even tho they are labeled as only 1.5 inches taller.

I just swapped back to the radials earlier this evening but I'll post pics of the new slicks when I put them back on.

And it was just my luck, caught a big staple in the new slicks that is causing a slow leak. Third week in a row for me to go to my tire guy but I'll have him put the tubes in tomorrow.

The 28's have been great so far! Here is the video from the street race I mentioned before:
https://youtu.be/F083pAVJ7wA

Been cranking up the boost as much as I can, still on the 80lb injectors. Duty cycle is 112% at about 20lbs but afr is still holding fine so I haven't swapped to the 210's yet.

Boost doesn't seem to increase as much after about 50% duty on the EBoost. Think the ebay core is holding this little turbo back.

Plan to swap to a garret core and new electric fan (something more slim than the taurus fan) with much better ducting. That or sell everything and start the s480 build, for sale thread has been posted. Would be nice if I could sell everything as a whole kit and start from scratch but I doubt that will happen.

Just got done with the Zbrown radiator/fan setup and Garrett intercooler build. As is the usual for me, there is some real nice work and some ugly booger welds. Turned out pretty good over all.

Couple pics of the old setup for reference:

The new core is the "1140 horsepower" 22x14x4.5 inch piece. End tanks both have air diverters as I will likely reverse the flow when I change turbo setups.

I welded the bend to the passenger side to snake passed the air filter easier and not have to worry about having to get in there to access a coupler.

This thing is massive next to the old ebay core.

Mounted and finished with ducting:

The bumper cover fits nice and tight around everything, almost to tight. It has to be pushed up flush to the fender now, it won't just set in place like before.

The radiator is sealed to the intercooler on the sides and has an air dam underneath. I might add something to the top later if I feel like it needs it.

I gained a ton of room for the s480 that will eventually go on.

The new intercooler was about 13lbs heavier than the last. Probably gained 15-20lbs overall with this new setup.

Went out testing last night and this new cooler is awesome. Ambient temp was ~65*. First run car was heat soaked. IAT's went from 95 to 81* over an 8th mile. After the car cooled down more I only saw a 2* rise in IAT's.

It seems to be flowing more from looking at past data logs with the same boost settings. I won't really know until I can turn it all the way up on a good surface.

That setup ought to work pretty well.   I know Zac's setup works great.

Thanks gentlemen!

With all this covid stuff going on it seems I have been testing/racing a lot more than normal and the car has been doing great.

I found out the Eboost 2 does boost by rpm as well as by gear at the same time. I had always thought that it was either or all this time  :banghead:. The resolution is in 500 rpm increments but I think I'll be able to get it to work well. Also turned off the knock retard as the computer was pulling tons of timing while on the 2 step which it didn't give back until the 1-2 shift.

First run with the changes and I messed up and launched on ~15lbs. Hit ~22lbs in first gear then overboost kicked in and shut things down. This was a surface with a lot of rubber put down, car held it very well.

The road would have held more launch rpm and I probably could have cut a 1.5x 60' but I was there to figure the boost/rpm.

Went out last night on a fresh surface and made a couple passes. Both were pretty much exactly the same times although the 2nd pass was turned up more. 85% duty in 3rd gear, G force says the car is begging for more power.
