I just adjusted the pedal stop all the way out and now it feels a whole lot better, no more getting stiff after a few pumps. I should be able to drive the car tomorrow and test it out. Thanks again for the help Supe.

Now all I need to do is hook up the horn to pass inspection and get the LM2 communicating with efi live then its log taking time!

horn to pass inspection?? what state do you live in? In CT, with my car being 25+ years old (28 to be exact) i can run this thing with no cats, no mufflers, no interior and iam still good to go. no inspection or emissions. Hell i brought my car to get a vin inspection with a nitrous bottle still hooked up and they just laughed and signed off.

A lot of states still do a safety inspection.  In Meckelburg county, NC, you don't get your normal inspection waived until 35 years, and then it has to pass a safety inspection and then a state inspection for authenticity before you can tag it as an antique (they try to fight VIN swapping, etc.).

I live in Texas, but yea normally cars have to have a working horn. Everything that I have heard is that the car has to be registered as an antique (which puts restrictions on your driving) to get the benefits of being 25 years old or more.

Texas kind of sucks for inspections, a lot of places won't even pass a car with headers and highflow cats if they aren't in the stock location. Luckily I know a couple backwoods shops that will let a bullet muffler pass as a cat  :secret:.

Found this after a little searching:

Custom vehicle is defined as "a vehicle that is at least 25 years old and of a model year after 1948; or manufactured to resemble a vehicle
that is at least 25 years old and of a model year after 1948, and that has been altered from the manufacturer's original design or has a body
constructed from materials not original to the vehicle."

Once the vehicle is approved for Custom Vehicle or Street Rod license plates, the vehicle is exempt from the annual Texas Department of
Public Safety vehicle safety inspection requirement (Transportation Code §548.052). It is recommended that you carry a copy of this
completed application/inspection form in your vehicle.

I'd be tickled as shit if it works out.

Aww, for a second I was hoping you said "Buna" lol. I'm over in Beaumont. I'm hoping I'll have my stuff running in the next couple of months. Need to plan a meet up in Houston!

I have no idea on the wideband question. :(

Got everything communicating properly today, took a log, and sent it off only to find out my iat sensor wasn't reading. After some digging I realized good 'ol Pez put the pin in the wrong place. I also did a dumb thing by realizing this a long time ago and doing nothing about it :banghead:. Luckily I kept my notes from chasing a previous problem so it was easy to find. BTW, if anyone is interested I can post a listing of 1998 vs 2000 pcm pin outs that way people can repin they're pcms themselves real easily. Not sure if this is readily available on the internets or not.

On a side note, I bought a sweet suction mount for the gopro today so I'll take a vid and post it after some logging tomorrow morning.

Wiring gremlins. I'm hoping I won't have to deal with that too much. Did you end up pulling the whole harness apart? I was gonna strip my whole 5.3 truck harness down and repin/extend the harness to sit the pcm in the passenger footwell and match my 411 fbody pcm. Tons of useful harness info here:

No I actually had some good notes on what pin should be where. Took the computer out, saw a tan wire in the vats location, tested it and sho nough ended up being my iat sender. Simply moved the pin and bam, working sensor.

I'll have to take another vid tomorrow or something because the one I took yesterday was no good. Got one block over and ran out of fuel lol. Damn thing used over 10 gallons in less than 10 miles of driving. Needless to say, my fuel tank is getting dropped next week so I can figure out why my gauge isn't working.

Sorry about the vid, the gopro turned off randomly last time I messed with the car.

What does everyone around here run for an exhaust? I plan on buying a 4" cutout to run just after the bullet then a full exhaust out back. Thinking a magnaflow can in the stock location but what diameter do you big power guys run? A 4" pipe may be doable but will be extremely tight so I'm thinking 3.5 or 3". How restrictive is a 3"? I'll have the cutout for racing but at the same time I don't want the exhaust to be to terribly restrictive.
