Oh the joys of a hot coolant bath.

I can imagine that after finding an engine oil leak, then a power steering leak - the coolant bath was enough to say "fuck it, im done for the night"

Those things are always a kill-joy

Hah, yeah.    Honestly I think the engine needs to come apart and be gone through.   It was FULL of sludge, and the oil leak isn't getting fixed without the front cover and pan coming off.

I think it's going to go back to the owner as-is, and he can get the engine redone.   The swap itself is completed, it's ancillary systems that are causing trouble.     Honestly, I need it out of my garage, I have work to be done on my car, and I'm really, really tired of inching around this car.  ;)
