Supposedly the guy that Matt Damon plays is uncannily similar in real life.

I didn't really like the movie, but I thought Matt Damon did a good job with it.

It did get kind of depressing. I think that's because it closely matches this guy's life...a compulsive liar informant...lol, what a barrel of monkeys.

Some progress.   Got the intake cleaned and hit with some red wrinkle paint (now it's an LT1 Type-R :D).     Hit the valve covers with wrinkle as well, though I'm not in love with how it came out, so I'll probably touch it up a bit.   Also cleaned up and resprayed the accessories and stripped most of the engine bay harness off.   I'm planning to start photographing and labeling that for a harness relocation/tuck article I'm putting together shortly.   Finally, I cleaned up the engine bay, which wasn't tooo bad, but had some weird liquid rust crap from the old battery.

Here's a shot as we stand today.   Like I said, valve covers need touched up, and I still need to clean up and reinstall the throttle body, and get some EGR block off plates.

And just to recap, here's a quick "before" shot.  ;)

I really like the LT4/Ferrari look of the intake.

/\ interesting joke?

"winning silver"  i have always kind of liked that color.  lol  a lot of mazda mpvs got that color.  the only problem is they gave the mpv a decent looking tan interior and put that awful red in the rx7.
