Wow, that's bright, even on my phone. Lol

On a related note, why is it so hard to find helmets with air inlets?
I've noticed that on Saferacer.com, very few of their helmets have inlets, and even though I've requested it from their customer service, they still have no way to search for only helmets with air inlets.

Any better sources?
Thanks

I know ZAMP offers the bolt on air manifold conversion deal for most of their helmets, which is what I may do to mine as my Zamp race helmet is "air ready". I am thinking of setting up the blower such that I have a port to plug into for helmet air.

I would look at some of the Offroad places, as the air helmets are very popular for offroad. Kartek, 4 Wheel parts, McKinzies. Also PCI Race Radios and Rugged Radios sell wired and unwired air helmets.

The helmet for my RZR is a DOT Bell. $240 for a full face air helmet with a skirt, wired for my intercom. The SFI versions start at around $500.

I have an Impact fresh air helmet with All-Star blower.  I like it a lot.  Surprisingly nice quality for the price.  I had major structural issues with a Zamp carbon helmet in the past and will never consider putting one on my head.  Make sure you've got room depending on inlet location.  My containment seat dictated top mount, but then I had to cut a roof x-bar out because the inlet nozzle with the hose on would hit the bar when I looked down - I had only measured "flat" and not considered that.

What's new up in here???

Well I took it for a drive down PCH Saturday morning and as I was waiting for the light to change right in the center of Laguna Beach a guy walking by said “Nice S13 man.”

I seem to have a bad cam position sensor. I‘m thinking the wires/pigtail is bad or the sensor is bad. I have both just in case. Since the intake will be off I think I will try to put in the Dorman LS2 intake I bought and ported many years ago, that thing is now worth over double what I paid for it. I will need to hack up the back portion to fit the firewall, and add back a fitting for the brake booster.

I also picked up an 18’ enclosed trailer this spring. This will make track events a little nicer, and I can also camp/sleep in it when needed. It has a folding couch/bed, is set up for shore or generator power, and also has a fume hood for cooking inside it. I had the bed moved to the passenger side, and transition flaps added to the rear door, as this was set up for a Jeep initially, and then never really used. We will also use this for day trips to the desert when we go off roading. This will fit my new SXS and my kids quads, my old open trailer could not.

I bought an electric blackstone griddle to cook with, and already have a 2300 watt inverter generator. I switched the dual 400 watt halogen flood lights to dual 50 watt LED floods so I can cook and have lights at the same time with the generator. I made some 2x6 ramps to get the RX7 in. I may also install an in floor winch box. I can get out of the car when it is in the trailer.. but just barely.

Thanks. It fits what I wanted about perfectly. Trailers are stupidly expensive out this way right now, and I got this one for a good deal and it was hardly used. The rear door had some water damage and rotted wood. I took it to the builder here in So Cal and had them fix it, and they added the entry flaps, added new door seals and moved the bed. Now I can put the bed/couch on either side, or run 2 of them. With the new tires I will be in about $9K, I could probably sell for $11-$12K right now.

Oh it also has solar panels on the roof and is set up for deal batteries. I just have one battery in it right now, but the solar keeps it fully charged in storage. I am thinking about adding a fuel station to it as well.

I bought an ATV winch with wireless remote, and built a removable mount so I can use it on either my open or enclosed trailer.
It mounts to a length of E-Track I installed on the floor.  It's handy to be able to move it out of the way when not needed.

Yea if I do anything I will probably mount it in the floor to keep it out of the way. This trailer is kinda high so I’m not too worried about the ground clearance.

Midwest Race Cabinets make a cool recessed floor mount box.

If I don’t do that I like the E Track idea. To your point an small ATV winch will work just fine for my purposes. Unless I can securely mount it at the absolute front, I want it in the floor or removable. I already have the 12v power.

Still have the intake and heads...The intake is worth so much I'm scared to hack it up now. I need to measure one more time to make sure the 90MM TB is going to fit under the hood before I make the intake fit.

I packed up and moved to St George UT a few months ago. Car is in a climate controlled garage now at least :) I'll post of a few details here in the next couple days.

Haha I do owe you guys details.

My garage is a mess as I’ve been waiting for my backyard to be finished. That should be done in a couple more weeks, and I can build my 8x15 storage shed that is in boxes taking up a bay in the garage, then stuff that is stored in the garage I can get out of the way and finally complete my life :)

We are loving the new place though.

I did pick up a Turbo RZR to play around with out here since they are street legal, and I have open BLM land a half mile away. Most of the people on my street have machines. Still kept my place and boat in Lake Havasu but got a little dockbanger jet boat to hang out on at the local lakes here in the summer. It’s a 17’ boat with a 175 HP 2 stroke V6. Makes a good floating cooler :)

I have signed up for a track day at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the 14th. :) LVMS is about an hour away.
