I don’t repost any vids ever but this really helped me understand what you guys are doing when sniffing CANBUS data. Both of these are excellent!

As soon as I saw this post I assumed it must be Dan’s videos.  Haha.  Best explanation I’ve ever seen.   I was going to make a video when I finish my controller, but honestly, there is no need now.

As soon as I saw this post I assumed it must be Dan’s videos.  Haha.  Best explanation I’ve ever seen.   I was going to make a video when I finish my controller, but honestly, there is no need now.

Haha, same. I knew it was his. I need to get one of those sniffers he used. So far the MaxxECU does fine for my needs though.

That software looks to make it so much easier.

Lol,  Same!  I tried to watch his part one on this but that isn't something I am dealing with at the moment or have any need for currently.  But if I ever need to do CAN BUS i know where to go

I posted this with you in mind, I remember you saying you would do a vid. I know how much work they are so this saves you the trouble! 

Wish I could comment on his vids to say thanks. 

I think there is still a gap in transmitting data vs just reading it and displaying it but still this gets me a lot farther down the CAN path and taking the mystery out.
