Finally time to admit the end of this project road for me. It's just not getting the attention or driving it should anymore, and hoping I can find someone to give it that.
Summary --
1988 Mazda RX7 SE. Less than 2K miles on all mechanical components of a very extensive build (engine, drivetrain, chassis, suspension).
Powertrain swap: LT1 / T56 (1995 Camaro sourced) / Ford 8.8 rear end (Explorer sourced). One of the cleanest swaps you’ll see, with clean wiring and all systems functional (including heat, A/C, cruise control). BAR certified and CA smogged.
Mechanical / electrical 10/10 – Everything rebuilt/refreshed and gone through, 100% operational. Car is mechanically 100% sorted and ready to drive anywhere.
Interior 9.5/10 – Fully refurbished, a crack over the gauge cluster in dash is really the only flaw.
Body – Straight, ready for final prep and paint. This is the last part of the project I never got to. I was planning to go with Shadow Silver Metallic (Mazda 3G color code) and engine bay and all jams are painted that color. Lots of included brand-new extras (moulding, trim, windshield, etc.) for finishing this up. Or, run it as-is, lots of people love the ratty look.
