SOLD 1988 FC Roller
« on: September 23, 2022, 06:57:09 PM »
Selling my 1988 Mazda RX-7. I've decided to pull my engine and move to another chassis.
Currently setup with a 2001 Camaro LS1 ECU (HP tuners unlocked) and PSI swap harness to run a LS3 (24t reluctor, 1x cam gear, and cable throttle body). Will not come with LS3
(5 wire MAF, LS3 MAP [2Bar? I forget] extensions for front cam sensor and knock sensors, EV1 harness with EV6 adapters)

Everything has less than 6k miles on it.
Parts list:

Drivetrain:
- LS1 computer hp tuners unlocked and tuned for LS3 w/ TSP stage 2 cam
- PSI swap harness
- One piece driveline w/ yoke 1350 U-joints
- Ronin 8.8 Grande w/ 3.73 LSD
- Ronin FC LSX Supreme engine kit
- Dual 3" exhaust with X-pipe and Borla mufflers (quite loud)
- LS7 MAF
- Will come with F-body oil pan

Suspension/Brakes/Steering:
- BC Racing DS series coilovers
- Refurbished steering rack
- Re-packed wheel bearings and new wheel seals
- Lower ball joints
- Parts Shop MAX DTSS delete
- Parts Shop MAX Rear knuckle upper bushing
- T2 5-lug swap
- Power stop Z26 Brake pads and drilled/slotted rotors
- Enkei 17x8 front and 17x9 rear
- Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 225 front 255 rear
- Poly bushings still in box
- New brake master cylinder
- Ronin 1.2 deg rear camber correction links still in box (at current ride height the car has 2.1 degrees of camber in the rear)
- Stainless steel brake lines

Interior:
- Haltech iC7
- Mako motorsport mount for iC7
- Pyle Amp and shock tower speakers w/ tweeters (nothing super special, just enough to hear the music over the engine)
- Full black carpet, blue seats, door cards, and headliner

Other:
- Brand new S5 taillights
- Ebay carbon fiber T2 replica hood
- Spare S4 taillights with missing posts

Known issues:
- The car has light rust issues as can be seen in photos
- Previous owner did a botched repair on the driver's side rocker panel
- Front bumper and driver's side fender damaged from a loose SUV tire (tire only no rim) hitting me on the highway. Main structure is untouched, but all bumper mounting tabs are bent. Driver's side turn signal housing is busted (Signal is now fixed).
- Rear hatch lock doesn't work, and cable is slightly too long to actuate latch
- Driver's side rear rim has light curb rash
- Exact chassis mileage unknown, but a carfax from a while back said over 300k miles.
- Radiator mount could use work
- Needs subframe bushings and new pinion seal installed (comes with new pinion seal)

I have a fair amount of spare plastics that will go with the car. Will not come with LS3 or radio.

Bump. I found a S13 Hatch so I'm taking a few parts over to the new chassis. I've removed them from the listing and adjusted the price. I now could be interested in s13 parts as a partial trade.
The following parts are no longer included: T56, clutch master, fuel regulator/filter, accessory drives, iC7, and battery.
Edit 10/13/23 - Strikethroughs can still go with car

Bump. Forgot to mention clean title. Also, no longer need the iC7 so if buyer wants it we can work out it going with the car.

Bump still have it. Make an offer. Made some updates - I've driven the car a bit more.

I'll be pulling the engine before winter for the S13 project. I've updated the included list to $10k OBO and all it needs to run/drive is a long block although a little bit of extra work is suggested. The diff has started moving around, I strongly suspect the ancient sub-frame bushings.

If any are interested I will sell it with all of the big $ parts not essential to rolling stripped off at $4k OBO. (Includes Ronin 8.8 Grande w/ driveshaft, coil-overs, full interior, all body panels, extra plastics, taillights, exhaust w/o headers, mismatched rims, hood, and parts listed as new in box)

Where is the car located? If you're up for parting the 8.8 setup I may be interested. I could partial trade a T2 Diff and Axles so the car remains complete/usable as well.

I'd sell the rear-end, although I'm just going to swap to parting the car out if I sell it. As such I'm not interested in the diff or axles but I'd take the subframe, trailing arms and knuckles as a partial trade just to keep it rolling. With the trade I'd do $2k for the rear-end with the 1350 driveshaft and slipyoke for Ronin mounted T56. The 8.8 flange has been swapped for a 1350 yoke and the subframe clearanced for it. Pick up only, it's too large to ship.

It sold this morning with the shell.

The T2 spoiler, standalone IC-7, F-body oil pan, and swap harness w/ ecu are the only parts that remain.
