Any particular reason you pulled the LS1 to put an LM7 in it?

Yes, I pulled it out because of #6 exhaust valve lifter bore damage from a seized lifter roller. The seized roller blew out the sides of the lifter body and it scored & distorted the lifter bore. The old LS1 engine now has a new cam, lifters, pushrods and oil pump and runs fine but cannot maintain adequate oil pressure in the lifter bore to pump up the hydraulic lifter due to excess clearance. I.E that lifter is very noisy when the engine is warmed up. I am told this can be fixed with a bore sleeve by my local engine builder. This will require a complete engine teardown.
Due to the high miles and amount of track time put on the old LS1 engine by the original builder I choose to just replace it. I found a freshly rebuilt LM7 bored to 5.7 liters that had a big Texas Speed cam and some nice 243 heads locally at a reasonable price. Aluminum blocks are great until they encounter an immovable object like a seized & stuck roller lifter. DP -

it is rather late in the day to be asking if your FC is still for sale. If it is still for sale, do you have any pics? Thanks,

Honestly, looking at all the parts in the car, this is a screaming deal. Also, working A/C and cruise control is a rarity in swapped cars twice the price, and they make the car so much nicer to daily drive.
If you can fix the engine problems, I think you could increase the price to cover the repairs and sell quickly. Just a thought.
GLWS! If I didn't already have my own swapped FC, I'd be looking to buy this one. -

Thanks for the kind words cholmes. The problem with fixing the car is the amount of labor required. The engine and transmission have to be pulled as a unit to address the oil leak. DP
