To be clear I HATE the C rated tires for towing, but love them the other 95% of the time  :D

Riding in Offroad shock mode (ie super soft) and C rated 35's at 30 psi is like riding on a cloud!

Just a update, almost 30,000 miles now.  I finally switched to E rated BFG KO tires (same as stock but E rating vs C).  HUGE and I mean HUGE improvement towing my enclosed 23' enclosed in a cross wind.  I finally feel confident towing again.  Predictably I lost my cloud ride until I rode in a reg F150 and the raptor is still 10 leagues ahead.  Rides great but different shock settings don't impact as much with the stiffer tires.  Overall I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to but it's a great compromise between a tow rig and play rig.

Daily use, still just as impressed as day 1.  I got the $700 lifetime coating they always say DO NOT GET lol and honestly I am so impressed with it.  Once it rains the truck looks really really clean.  This was the same coating on my 19 raptor and it worked good too.  So I actually think its money well spent.  I rarely wash the truck because it generally always looks good.  I only wash during bug season to clean my windshield.

I haven't had a single issue.  Wireless carplay even works flawless.

Off road had a chance to do this, unreal capability!!  It's scary you feel like you can go through anything, the only thing that will get it stuck is over confidence of the driver lol.  Jump sensors work as advertised ;)

MPG is largely unchanged, although I started riding with no HVAC and just windows down and I am getting 18.5 when I do that.  Otherwise 17 mpg consistently even after heavier tires.

I park in airport garages and can fit in anywhere, the R version is 37" tires only so if I do upgrade to the R I will have to downsize the tires as I clear most tight spaces by less then a inch now.

That said I told the dealer I will take a R if they can get one.  So maybe at some point I will upgrade but, I sure am not in a hurry.

Overall amazing vehicle and I am a harsh critic, but I can't find anything wrong with this.   Build quality is amazing not a single rattle.  Unreal truck.  If your looking for one don't hesitate!

Would you still choose this over a TRX?  I saw a Bronco Raptor yesterday and it looked pretty good, but I still prefer the pickup truck look.  E rated tires are a must for towing anything more than a small utility trailer.

17-18mpg isn't bad  I drive a 2010 Escalade on E rated 20" tires (ditched the 22s) Its full time AWD (which i really wish it wasn't) and I get like 13-14mpg and up to like 16-17 highway.  Right now I have been running E85 because it's like $1.40 less per gallon than Premium and i get 9.5-10.5mpg average.  Mostly do city driving.

I have a buddy with a TRX and he really likes it.  I haven't had much to do with it so I can't really say.  I do get way better mpg, he is at like 12 no matter what he does.  I like the look of the raptor more than his, but he has a swanky interior but I wouldn't say it's 'better' than mine just different and nice.

Weirdly I towed the same trailer and same rzr with my 19 gen 2 with leaf springs in the rear vs the sprung set up now in Gen 3 and it wasn't bad.  I think the leafs are more controllable for sway as well.  So I wouldn't say E is a 100% need but in this application with this truck, on this suspension they are definitely are.

Just another update, some  minor issues with the truck have been an annoying static noise over the infotainment specifically when the parking sensors go off or when the back up camera comes on.  Its intermittent.  EVERY SINGLE FORD truck I have had since 2011 has what is called the APIM module go out.  Super easy to replace but annoying.  I don't know if this one has a APIM but there is a TSB on static and it didn't help mine.  Hoping to get replaced before my warranty expires.

Lastly rear fender flare paint is flaking off, its charcoal color with a black plastic underneath so its hard to tell but Ford is putting a new one on.

Other then that oil changes at 10k and lots of gas :)

Eyeing up turbos, and tune with Goosetuned after warranty is gone.  Looking at 622whp and 603wtq!!! Just need to understand the impacts to towing.

Call me crazy but no way I'm going 10k miles on an ecoboost between oil changes.

I know it's apples to oranges but 200,000mil LS460 with 5k oil changes.

Neat truck for sure.

Yeah I sleep fine, I follow what the dash tells me like a dumb consumer, and this will be the 3rd eco boost with zero issues (Other then cam phasors on my 19).  I only run them to about 100K then trade.  I do know a guy that bought my last one and he has had no issues.  So it works for me.  Someday when I land on my "forever" vehicle I will change at 5K or monitor with blackstone analysis.  I am not there yet, they are disposable for me at this point.

This one is my favorite so far for everything but looks.  I still like my blue 19 I had better in the looks department.  Sort of like a hot GF that doesn't put out vs a avg girl where you get some everyday, I prefer the later

Those are bad ass trucks...  I'm so hesitant to pay that kind of money for a truck even though I can write it off.  I always change my oil at 5K miles or less.... unless I'm super busy and have no time it goes to 6K.  My main truck is a '19 Ranger with an Aussie 7ft long x6ft wide utility bed which makes the truck soooo much more useful (my main biz is swimming pool service/equipment repair/water solar) and the 2.3 liter Ecoboost turbo/10spd auto.  I do 25K miles/year in it with 18-19mpg average which I thought would be better MPG.

I just picked up a Ford Maverick hybrid truck and it has been averaging 40mpg+ (43mpg last tank) which saves me $3000+/annually in fuel doing 20K miles.  It's gutless and drives like a Prius.... but at 2000 miles already I've only filled up 4x.   The only thing I really tow these days is a Waverunner which both trucks handle no problem.

Impressive on the maverick hybrid for economy!  I am thinking of tesla plaid for my economy car if my RX7 sells (which would mean I need to list it first, lol).  I did the math and it would save me $6200/yr after you deduct the cost of charging.  Pretty cool for a 9 second slug...

IMO a PHEV seems like the best of both worlds. I'd think you'd need at least 60miles if range. Preferably 100miles. One of the new Volvos looks like an interesting possibility.

I agree, that would fix nearly all my fuel costs except when I take a road trip.  That would be nice.

I have often thought about a Civic type R with a Tesla motor on rear axle, and create some sort of hybrid that is also fast as balls.  Just waiting on battery tech.
