Clearly none of you have been in tropical rain.
I got caught in Lousianna/florida rain in a slingshot and that wasn't even tropical. No more for me.
If they made the rally fighter with better fit and finish and sills that dont store water for skeeters i'd get one.
15 years ago Hertz was renting lotus Elises down in south florida, and you could get one for under $100 a day.
Left with the sun shining and the roof off. Never bothered to ask how the roof worked.
15 minutes later on 95 the skies go black, and traffic comes to a crawl. Learned how to assemble the top on one of those with my dad on the side of the highway, in tropical rains. Luckily I vacuumed out the inches of water on the floorboards and seats and left that thing with the roof off for a couple sunny days in south florida heat.
Tried to rent it again the next week, and they said it was now "unavailable" due to maintenance

Still worth it. I brought that thing to car shows, the drag strip, street racing
