Has Anyone Used The Hinson LS Single Turbo Kit??
« on: April 26, 2021, 06:13:23 PM »
Currently I'm Gathering Parts for my new project, which is turboing my LS2. I've gotten a few quotes for the fabrication of the hot parts because I do not weld.

To be a little cost effective  (because most guys arent building turbo LS RX-7 Kits everyday) I was thinking about buying the Hinson Single Turbo Kit and Having them modify it. The Car currently is an A/C car and I'd Like to keep it that way. Room is Limited and I plan on doing a High mount.

Any suggestions would help a ton.

As this gets asked from time to time.... the Hinson turbo kit fits like crap and needs to be redone.  Aside from the headers.... plan on redoing the rest.  Just like their standard N/A long tube headers that fit like crap.  Most "custom" parts Hinson makes simply aren't well made and they haven't made any revisions to them in over 10 years to correct the issues.

Thanks for that. Glad I got the setup I purchased now. For anyone searching for this answer also, he will not make them unless two people are interested in the kit and materials are up 3-5%
