Glad you figured that out!  I will have to remember that one.  Guess I will stick to a little vaseline or fuel line assembly lube for all my future O-rings.

Yep, neither PTFE or silicone will dissolve in hydrocarbons.
I learned that many years ago when I used silicone grease on the gaskets when rebuilding a Holley carb.
I ended up with little balls of silicone grease clogging the jets and nozzles. 🤬

I now need to take my surge tank out AGAIN and clean/reassemble with vasoline or grease. I'm looking at buying a Fuelab 6u filter with a pleated element which should help in the future.
I should have checked the filter as soon as I swapped the pumps because I found a pebble-sized ball of good rolling around inside the surge tank. It was definitely Krytox. I should probably check all of my injector baskets also since I used it to assemble them too  :banghead:

I'm making a mental note of this as well; I've used silicone grease on a few engine gaskets before, to prevent them tearing upon later removal. I'm going to be very careful about this from now on. Thanks for the update shainiac -- you may have prevented a lot of mysterious problems for other people in the future.

Thanks, guys.
I've been driving the car around all weekend and fuel pressure seems fine on wastegate pressure (4.5psi). I bought a Fuelab 6 micron pleated fiberglass filter that should be here this week. Still some things I need to tidy up before I get to turning up the boost.
