The NRG quick release is really good these days.

I had an NRG on the RX7 and I just put one on my Mustang project.  No complaints with either one, the quality is nice and the snap action/feel/rigidity seems excellent.

I think I had a "Gen 2.5" on the RX7 and I did a "Gen 3" on the Mustang (the little batwing lever setup is easy to grab for quick removal).

I used the NRG quick release and hub on my previous FD. No complaints, worked really well. On my current FD, I have a Works Bell tilting hub. I had to walk back to my office one too many times to retrieve the steering wheel off my desk. Ingress/Egress was the issue, so tilt solution seemed best for me.

Any time my car isn't at the house I take it off. Just that little extra theft protection.

I have a nrg 2.5 on my fd and don’t have any complaints. I can’t remeber why I went with that over the 3.0 but so far, it works perfectly.

The Sweet Mfg. pieces are race only with a welded hub - they won't house horn buttons, etc., and will leave a gap between the wheel and column.

Really not concerned with the horn. I have a push button on my other car.
