Probably seliing my project. All my cars actually...
« on: March 23, 2018, 02:35:41 PM »
I have too many hobbies and probably settling down soon so being cars take up the most time and money. They need to go.

If you guys could put a number on this package, what would it be?

-93 FD base car Black with tan interior (Interior is 8/10 condition, needs new leather covers)(Exterior is factory minus a 99 bumper installed and all body work is done and car is primer) It does need to be painted now.
-LS2/T56 complete pullout 38k miles (bolted in car but nothing else yet)
-Samberg/Ronin Subframe and mount kit (Installed)
-Ronin 8.8 with explorer diff and trutrac kit
-17x8.5 and 17x10 Fikse Fm10 with Toyo R888 tires
-Vitoman Radiator Setup with intake and a/c condenser core
-Megan Racing Coilovers (Installed)
-Powerslot Rotors and Hawke Pads
-JTR Headers
-Turn one GTO power steering pump
-New Delco A/C compressor
-Numerous new oem mazda parts (new speedometer, new dash gauge shroud, new center console, new door handles

So basically you are buying a car to paint any color you like, all nice swap parts (minus driveshaft and shifter) needed to complete the swap, and new interior parts to replace broken or cracked ones.

Anyone able to put a number on this?

I would SWAG that around 15k dollars.

Where are you located?  I'm a tiny bit interested...

depending on how serious you are, around 15k will get it.

I agree.  $15K is a good deal for someone who has the skills and time to assemble it, paint it, and work out all the bugs.   :D

I've gotten about 20 inquiries about the car. Most offers around $10-12k. I'm currently at 23k invested. 10-12k will buy something, but not this car and all the associated parts. I've seen a sub 20k swapped car. This is not one of those cars.

Well... finish the car, part it all out, or prepare to take a loss on your 23k. Sorry. ☹

I think he said that ~15k was reasonable and that 10-12k was too low.

15k sounds about right for a nice collection of parts.   I bounced this off my checkbook and decided I better not, mostly because my company's stock is worth approximately a can of soup right now.

$12K is definitely low.  :banghead:
I think $15K is a very reasonable number for this.

There's lots of good hardware here.

I'm used to selling cars to a different audience. Just sold my 67 in the upper $150k range. I take pride in cars I build (perfect paint, interior, engine bay, etc). This car has the parts list, body, and interior to be a $30k+ car. These cars are not difficult to build with even the slightest mechanical and electrical inclination. If someone can't entertain a 15k deal, I'll build a $30k car one day when I have more time.

I’d take it for 15k if I was closer.  Good parts list and as long as the car is as described I think 15k is a fair price for an unfinished project.
