Project junkyard fun
« on: February 24, 2018, 12:25:23 PM »
Man it has been over 18 years since I owned a RX7. I had one as my first fun car in highschool, a 1989 FC S5 NA vert. Loved the little thing. Met my now Fiancee in it in highschool!

Many years Later, my wife got me a Turbo II project as an anniversy gift! It is beat to hell, P.O. put a NA swap in it, just giving me an excuse to V8 swap, probably 5.3 and then turbo it down the road. Here is my little story hope to learn a ton from all the wise people here[/img] and build a fun track monster, and garage queen :)

Also got bored and made this little cover for the exhaust as it was melting the bumper up

The Rims where looking so nice, the brakes needed a little cleaning up, quick easy job with some high temp paint.

Got a rear strut tower bar, kinda impressed it is actually not half bad the way it mounts up. I am sure i wont even notice a difference but hey one more suspension bit for the car.

Also got a Harness bar, and a X Bar I need to make brackets for to help out a little. Cant get sway bars until I know my exact motor drive train setup I get so those will have to wait.
