Hi guys, I've been thinking about doing something a little different lately and have considered selling my FD.
I'll try to keep the sales pitch short. For those not familiar with the car, everything on this car was built within the past 5 years and it is a very proven event winning setup.
I've built two LSX FD's over the past 15 years. Both builds are documented in the thread listed below.
Build thread:
http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=9842.msg136914#msg136914There are nearly 900 photos of the car at various stages of the build here:
http://s133.photobucket.com/user/1point3liter/library/cym-rx7?sort=3&page=1The Good:1. This is an original CYM R1 with around 115k miles. I'm the third owner.
2. This is a proven turnkey 1200+ rwhp twin turbo lsx FD, that can be driven in Florida summers, does not over heat, and has no issues with road trips.
3. It made 1235rw on 26#, but has been run on as much as 29#
4. The car has two half mile wins and has trapped mid 190's and it will trap 200mph as it sits with a better clutch.
5. The car has a handful of 160+ mph 1/4 passes with less power has been driven 5 hours round trip to/from the track.
6. The twin turbo setup is built around a Sanden AC compressor. The AC compressor and mount are included.
7. It has a "Flex Tune" and regularly runs on 93 and e85. I do not run full boost below 50-60% ethanol.
8. The interior is in awesome shape
9. AC system to be completed prior to sale.
The Bad:1. The front bumper was repainted by the previous owner and all the high speed events havent helped. The front chin is worn. I accept that both are not perfect, but some may prefer to have them repainted.
2. When the fenders were roll and the paint cracked on the inside of the fender lips. You can not see it when the car is sitting on the ground.
3. Reverse lights are not hooked-up
