Sam's LS3/TR6060 CYM R1
« on: March 19, 2016, 12:16:30 AM »
Hello NoRotors crew! My name is Sam an i'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I sold my EVO VIII couple years ago an been slowly working on another project. The car is a 1993 LHD CYM RX7 R1 package, originally a California car. I recently bought a doner car (salvage title) 2010 Camaro SS LS3/TR6060 for the powerplant an scored a Samberg swap kit on the local classifieds. so far, i'm off to a good start with finding the necessary parts so i hope it continues an i have this car drivable in little time without losing motivation. :D Hopefully i can meet some knowledgeable people throughout my journey with this project. I've heard many good things about this forum an finally decided i should start a build thread here since i finally have the ball rollin on this build...

Welcome Sam, my son and I did an identical swap a few years ago in the UK so shout if you need any help.  Is that a BOV I see on the Camaro, I don't see any turbo or Procharger parts?

Correct. It had a rear mounted TT kit from STS. (Bankrupt/dead company AFAIK)

Thanks for the kind offer man, do you have a link to a build thread? I'd love to check it out.
