I really  need to get back to wiring it, but the struggle is real. I have grown to absolutely hate wiring. I wanted to build this car solely by myself, but now I'm thinking about farming out the wiring  just because I don't want to do it lol. for two reasons
1. I don't really have time
2. I don't want to do it lol

this is exactly how i feel about wiring.

I've about got all the wires sourced. I might give it another shot. I don't know, I'd almost rather work a couple days over time and let someone else do it lol.

So today I put some of my front end back on. I had everything powder coated. I almost took the control arms apart and had them powder coated as well but the bushings were tight and I didn't wanna take a chance on screwing them up. Instead I got some Eagle One MAG wheel cleaner and a non-scratch scotch bright pad and they cleaned up nicely, almost new looking. I've done this before on my daily. After the initial deep cleaning every time I wash the car I just spray the MAG wheel cleaner on the control arms and such and the grime sprays right off. (Eagle One should pay me for that lol).

Since the front end was going together smoothly I decided to work on the battery some, here's a better idea on how its going to sit. I had to trim some because of the anti-roll bar but this is about how it'll look, but covered and sitting about an inch lower in the chassis. I may have got a little happy with the cut off wheel and cut too much off. but I have a couple ideas on how to clean it back up.

More pictures from Samberg. These are on their way to me. Hopefully I'll have the car ready for wheels/tires next week. I'm still undecided on if I want to run big/littles or a true set of street tires and then just a set of matching rear wheels with x275's on them. Probably going to go with the Weld RTS S77 wheels. I want to get the car on the ground before thanksgiving or Christmas at the latest so I can get the cage started.

I really want to go with Bride seats. I really like the "low max" seat b/c it'll sit me down a little lower in the car and I'll have more headroom with a helmet on. I just don't want to spend 2 grand on seats.

Does anyone have any experience with these? I know they are basically Bride knock off's and are considered "Bride Canada" not Bride Japan. I don't really care about them being authentic or not as long as the material is decent and its not cheap fabric. I could always order them and send them back if need be but I figured I would ask and see if anyone has any experience with these. Saving 1500 would be 1500 that could go into more go fast parts.

Ive heard lots of horror stories of Canadian brides and injuring the person in a wreck. You've spent this much money so far in the builds what's worth waiting 2-4 more paychecks for the real meal deal? Like spending all that money and running knock off wheels?

Eh I don't care so much for 'name brand' as I do quality. As far as knock off wheels, I'd run them. But I won't risk safety. But thanks for the input, that helped me make my decision in not messing with those.

So I'm entertaining the idea of putting the Shine Auto front fenders and rear fender flares on the car to be able to have a wider rear wheel and better fitment. I know they are only 20-25mm so I'm not sure if this would really give me much more room. I'll be running X275's so I'll have a 28" tall tire. Anyone have any input or experience here :drive:  :gruffy:

Haven't a lot of time to work on the car very much. I've been working a lot. finally got the rear end up under the car and tried to take some detailed pics so everyone can see how it mounts.

I also got the front QA1 that Samberg made the mounting brackets for. They were kinda tricky to get mounted. You have to unmounts the control arm part that bolts to the body, you can leave it on the spindle. Oh, and a spanner wrench helps a lot too.
