Just Another Dyno Session
« on: October 02, 2015, 11:23:55 PM »
Late Model Throttle dyno shop in my neighborhood had their annual Fall dyno shootout.
I participate in the Small Block non-LS no Power adders group.
Looks like my HP went down 5 but my torque went up 5.
The difference from this year to last year is the Ronin 8.8 swap with 3.73 gears and Dynomax mufflers over Magnaflow.

That thing is rollin Don. Love it. Are the dynomax mufflers you are using now straight through?

Kind of straight through but the way the baffle pipe has cutouts it flows the impulses out to the sound deadener and back in or something like that. (I saw a cutout of the muffler)
The car is a little quieter but not too much. It doesn't have the raspyness it had before. A little less drone inside with the windows closed. These are 3" inlet/outlet 18" long, 6" diameter.
I like them.
I'll probably put my old Magnaflows up for sale here soon.
