Sold: 94 FD w/ 2002 LS1 and T56 "Tranzilla" $19,500
« on: May 04, 2015, 08:29:14 PM »
Gentlemen, I have lived and learned from this site so much. I can't express how helpful you all have been throughout the years. And, I can't believe I'm doing this...

Asking $19,500. 1994 RX7 with 91,505 ORIGINAL miles. It was a Colorado car and I took it to San Antonio. It's currently in Norfolk, VA. Still no rust! Suspension bolts come out still looking new. So nice...

It took me over four years and $40K to do this build but it was a blast! Here's the goodies list:

- LS1 w/ LS6 intake manifold (2002 Camaro SS donor had 55k on it when it crashed)
- LS7 Clutch
- LS2 Aluminum Flywheel
- "Tranzilla" T56 6-Speed Transmission; holds 1000+ HP. (Google it. You'll be impressed.)
- Hinson Subframe, Samberg Trans mount
- Aluminum drive shaft w/ sealed u-joints
- 4:10 rear-end (factory)
- Bored out Throttle Body by o2 induction
- LS2 MAF Sensor
- LS2 Valley Cover (PCV eliminated, no more oil loss)
- Unmodified HOWE Aluminum Radiator (Easy to replace if ever needed)
- 95 Taurus Cooling fan (400 CFMs!) Drove this in El Paso for a year, 110 Degrees, no problems!
- 255LPH High pressure Fuel Pump
- Stainless Steel Fuel Lines
- JTR Cold Air Intake
- JTR 1 7/8 Ceramic Coated Long-tube Headers
- Dual high-flo Cats
- 3" Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel Exhaust
- 24" Stainless Mid-muffler (from Stainless Works)
- 5 x 8 stainless multi-chamber rear muffler (from Stainless Works)
- MSD Coil Packs
- Upgraded Door Handles (Aluminum vs Plastic)
- All interior Plastic in mint condition
- Window/Sunroof switches fully functional
- 18 x 9.5 RPF-1 w/ 275/35 18s on all four corners
- Full Power-flex Suspension Bushing Kit
- Megan Racing Toe-links and Trailing Arms
- Pettit Racing Stg III fully adjustable Coil-overs
- Braided Steel brake lines
- Speed-bleeder brake valves
- Brand new Stop-tech drilled/slotted rotors and EBC Red Pads (Both F & R, need to be installed)
- Power Steering, cold A/C
- I'm certain there's much more but this is the big stuff. . .

HUNDREDS of hours of fabrication and electrical work. This project was a labor of love. I found myself doing something two or three times until it was functionally and cosmetically perfect.

I built this to be a "comfortable" driver's car. Passed inspection in both Texas (on an exhaust sniffer) and Virginia. I'll daily drive it in the sun and rain.

Questions? I'm sure you do. Let me know...

I'm having trouble adding pics right now. I'm getting "server not available." I apologize. Here is a link to some...

Unfortunately no. I'm not really a numbers guy, I just love driving it. The thing is crazy-fast enough for me. I'm sure a tune would help eeek out those last 20-30 hp and give me an actual number but I've never gotten around to it.
