i sure hope you plan to put cash on your end. there are onlya. handful of FCs that are worth what an early S2K is. you should probably post more details on the car.

The S 2000's are coming up in value, but to get a swapped FD LS to anywhere close to the overall condition of a low mile S2k, you would probably have to throw some cash on top of a swap (a 2002 is going to be almost 10 years newer to start.) Zdan might put in his opinion here too since he also has an s2000. I've got a 2003 s 2000 and even with high miles it's had minimal maintenance, also no repairs and parts new and used are relatively affordable, FD's somewhat less so. a local guy that autocrosses a lot told me that s 2000's and pretty much stock rotary FD's do comparable times, another acquaintance that Autocrosses an early 911 with a late model motor (frequently to FTD), has commented how tail happy the s2000's are, which I thought was pretty funny coming from a 911 owner, but it's my experience too and judging by the number of s2000's for sale with rebuilt titles, I think a lot of people get a little over their limits. If you want to swap make sure you understand what you're getting, do a lot of research and maybe pay someone that knows LS FD's to check out a car you're interested in and IMHO, keep a little money around for repairs like gauges, pillowball replacement, etc.

KBB.com says 31K in good condition (it's 13 years old) is worth about $14.2K.  FYI.  BTW, excellent condition is $15.3K.

Undisclosed location, undisclosed car.  You must be blind folded to and from the meeting place.  His driver will drive you and your car there.  Pictures of the car will be emailed to you after you agree to trade.  You will recieve a cell phone in the mail for further contact.

Depending on miles and condition that 01 yellow might have been a good straight trade. S2k's are doing well right now.

Yeah right. There isn't a person here who would trade their swapped FD for a 4 cylinder roadster. Especially an early one.
