I don't know Jeff nor have I ever had any interaction with him.  That said there is a saying about business in general that I like.  "It is not the mistake that matters so much as how that mistake is handled".  Imho, honesty is the best policy.

Man...this is too bad to read. Worst part is I have seen Jordan's FD all over the place on the internet to include Vortech @ Sema 2013, 175K$$ Jaguar vs his FD on Super Street network, LSXTV, ect. That money pit has been getting a lot of attention............kinda like a kid getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar  :-[

I really hope he comes clean and sets it right. This could get very serious in the courts if he doesn't  :(

Serious in court or worse if he screwed the wrong person.   Money  can make people do crazy things.  Deactivate him from the forum.

He has nothing to gain by responding. He's not making an effort to resolve any of these issues, so there not much he can say.

I would have figured bringing this stuff all out in the open was the opportunity for resolution of Jeffs part.

Had this been my business and I found myself in a situation where I let it get away from me I would have done whatever personal sacrifice was necessary to restore my reputation and resolve these issues.

I feel like he realizes he can't keep doing business like this and went back to his bread and butter and doing what he knows he can manage based off his comments in that other thread.

Maybe he is also handling these outstanding issues. I hope that is the case although he didn't come here and make that fact known.

If he is moving away from the parts business anyway and how I've watched this play out over the past few weeks.. I think it's probably time to move on.

Jeff knows this thread is here.  I did text him back on the 13th and got a reply within a few minutes thanking me for letting him know.  He basically said he'd been really busy.   Like I said, I like the guy, but I also know wouldn't use his services personally based on feedback I've seen.  Kinda sad he hasn't chimed in...

I vote it's time to pull him as a Vendor.

^Agreed. I think it would be a good idea to hide Deactivated Vendors from the actual forum itself as well. Not delete them - just hide them.

If you don't want to hide them would be good to at least lock them and put a sticky at the top saying why they were deactivated. Some people may not read that they are deactivated and will try and PM them.

IMO, being a forum vendor/sponsor typically is typically viewed as a bit of a safety net for the casual visitor looking to order parts.  Whether that should be the case or not, when a vendor is associated with a forum, bad experiences with the vendor often leads to a black eye for the forum itself.

In my opinion, it is in the best interest of the forum/fellow nor otters to distance itself from a vendor who is routinely displaying unsavory business practices/customer service based on member feedback.  In the event that the reputation is restored, it should be revisited down the road, with no guarantees.

Just my $.02 as someone who is active on the forums, but has not dealt with J.I.
.    Good points. I've been on the forum since it was the other forum and would be pretty pissed off if I ordered some gauges (which I have been thinking of doing) and maybe never get them. I very much understand giving someone a lot of allowance if they are a nice guy, but if this many people have outstanding issues, J.I. should probably be put on the sideline until things are resolved.

This.  I make the same assumption.  Being a Vendor on the forum isn't just paying your fees and getting your advertisement in, its a sense that people on the forum have actually used their services and are happy with the vendor.  Sounds like he's ready to make his way off this forum as a vendor. Unfortunately.

Bottom line is the guy doesn't have money to pay for your parts. Period.  Seen this a million times before.  As another member said classic "Rob Peter to pay Paul"  If he had the money, you would have your parts.  That is why it is always "something".  Everyone else is messing up. It is Racelogic's fault, or Speedhuts, or whatever other BS he can concoct to buy time.

Busy isn't an excuse.  It would take less than a couple hours to order all of the ordered parts, or refund the money, if he had the cash.

The sad part is, it appears only legal action is going to be the solution.  Has anyone received a refund from him?
