My turbo LQ4 FD build

hows it going everyone. finally decided to start a build thread for my car after a couple years of owning it plus its a good place to store all my photos.

Current setup as of 12/31/14
1994 Chaste White 5 speed donor car
2005 LQ4 with 95k
       -LS3 intake w/Holley 95mm throttle body
       -Tick Stage1 street heat cam,BTR springs, LSA heads, ported oil pump
2002 Firehawk T56 with 13k, billet keys and bronze pads
Monster stage3 clutch
MGW shifter w/mattster03 thermal plate
Hinson subframe kit
Fiske FM5
Forced Induction ST80 turbo

Pics below are when i picked it up then painted the bay.

Monster Stage3 clutch install and finally dropping in the engine.

car sat for along time after the engine was in and I started gathering parts again.

Made a jig to hold my flange where to wanted to build my kit to. Used 2.5in mild steel ,2 flex pipes and 1 vband. Next I need to fit my Howe radiator in there and sort out the front harness.

Nice car. BTW, I have some Burnout rear flares for sale.
im just going to run mostly stock bodied for now. I sold the flares that were on the car,front fenders and bumper. im running a 99 replica bumper and scoot hood.

luckly the previous owner didn't cut the quarters up to put the last set of flares on. they had them pulled first then u guess it wasn't enough. I just have to fill the holes where they were bolted to

Nice looking build so far! What are the specs on the turbo? I'm surprised you painted the engine bay before the fab work. I would have been too nervous to potentially tear up the fresh paint!

thanks man, i ended up going back and forth from NA and FI. as a result i ended up doing stuff backwards lol. didnt mess up the bay to much. figure once its all in there, you wont see much of it.

got my Mattster hood strut kit installed and began labeling the front harness. going to cut it up this weekend and hopefully be done with it.

got some work done recently on this. wrapped my crossover pipe, installed abs delete, brake master,clutch master, my coated race cover and k&n filter. next is to finish up the fuel system and get some sensors so i can fire it up .

Got some stuff done recently, trying to get it ready to fire up. Turbo feed and return line done, Kirban FPR mounted,walbro 465 pump installed, power steering line made and received my prototype catch can from MightyMouse Solutions.www.mightymousesolutions.com.
