Mostly I figure if it's not super efficient (I can only fit 2x 2.5" exhaust as well) I will just add boost.    Yay boost.    The bottom end is my fuse, and I don't want to pop it.   The rest of the system can out HP the stock rods/pistons anyway.

Played with the TIG a bit tonight, getting a little better at heat control, now I need to work on rhythm and keeping torch distance consistent.   I'm starting to be able to see the puddle a little better and control heat properly.

LOL ^

So, not a lot of visible progress, but the driver side bumper mounts are fully welded now and I primed both of them and reinstalled.   I welded up the bumper mount holes that I'm not using and then ground down the welds from resizing and filling the holes and knocked the chrome off of the rest of the bumper so that the paint will stick.

I need to fix a weird spot in the stone guard, align the headlights in the buckets, seal off the driver side headlight bucket from the grille area (it looks weird) and build a grille.   Then pull the motor, body work all of these areas along with a couple areas in the engine bay, then the front is done with major fab.

Next up after that is the rear bumper, and touching up a few small things in the body work.    Then either brake/fuel lines or maybe paint it.   I'm pretty excited for paint.   Not excited to get all the engine parts I need to get the motor sorted out.

Super excited for seats, though right now I'm hoping that things go over well at work, or I'm not going to have any $$$ for any more car toys for a bit.  :(

Anyway, exhaust fab!

V band.   This is the 2nd one I did.   Not too horrible at least.

And muffler to exhaust joint:

Somewhere along the way I forgot my turbo outlets were 3" and the rest of the exhaust was 2.5" (I can't fit 3" past the transmission/braces).   So I just ordered some 2.5/3.0 transitions, but I cannot finish the exhaust -> turbo joints until then.   They're close now and have room for adjustment to get alignment right.   I wanted the exhaust tucked ABOVE the cross braces, so it's TIGHT in there.    It will go over the axle/3 link and under the swaybar and forward of the panhard.   Needs a couple of v-bands and pieces to make it all fit right.   Anyway, pictures!

It's not quite as tight to the torque arm as this picture appears.   It has room to cycle suspension without impacting it.

I'm happy with how it's come out so far.   The lift makes it pretty easy and I like all the TIG practice.   I sure burn through gas quickly with all this welding though, faster than the MIG does anyway.   Oh, I decided to dump the gates to atmosphere.   After looking at the clearances, I've decided that while I can handle dumping them in, it will make assembly/service a royal pain and also, I don't give a crap about putting them into the exhaust anyway.   There's room for them to dump to atmosphere and still be clear of everything.

I have some aluminum heat shield on order that will be formed to the tunnel to help reflect some heat back, since the turbos/exhaust are pretty snug to the floorboard.

What are you running for gas flow?  I never go above 15 CFH when I'm running a gas lens.  I do a lot of TIG welding and can make a bottle last a looong time.

~15 CFH.    I think Nick's regulator may have a small leak that's causing it go go quicker though.    FWIW I have gotten about 8 hours of on time out of this Q tank.

Thanks!     They'll be clearanced to make sure it's not a problem.  :)   They're just rough cut right now.

More progress:

And the bumper on with the valance.    Figuring out order of operations on this with everything tightened up, fitment wise, is a pain.    I think I have it sorted out.   The passenger side bracket setup is all welded up and the driver side is tacked up.   I added some reinforcement braces, because, well of course I did.

Where are you going to mount your BOV?

It'll probably be on that long straight area in front of the radiator.

Which BOV did you get?  I see no problem with EWGs, but anyone will know now that its definitely not stock, good way to piss off the purists  :D

I haven't purchased one yet due to being poor.    I'll probably do a JGS 50mm though, i had one on the FC and liked it.

Why would EWGs effect anything?  You can't hear them over turbos once they spool anyway, in my experience.  ;)

At the current rate, it'll start somewhere after I retire.

I've been playing with bumper fitment on the rear the past couple of days.   There was a big gap under the taillight panel, below the quarter panel extensions and to the rear quarter panels.   About 1" at the tail panel, and 1/2" too wide elsewhere.   So I added 1/2" around the main areas and 1" under the tail panel.

I need to tweak the passenger side bracket to level it out, which is why you see the bumper too close to the quarter extension on that side.

Held in the proper place, gap to 1/4 panel and 1/4 extension:

And the overall look, minus some alignment tweaks:

Oh, almost forgot.  Here is the front end mostly finished.    I redid the stone guard (need to redo it more, still not 100% happy with it) fixed the headlight centering (and reinforced the mounting tabs as they were crap stock, still need to reinforce passenger side) and put in the grille I bought (which is crap, going to make a new one myself):
