I want to warn you about that horizontal flow IC... you will see a pressure drop issue with the procharger and might only boost 2/4lbs.  I had to change to a vertical flow which I got from treadstone performance and it solved my boost issue.

Thats not good. I picked up the IC for 100$ but don't want to have to change everything if its uneffecient. Given our time frame, I can't afford to pick up a new IC and wait for international shipping. I will try to sort that out though. May have to change up after our bond is finished.

Thanks for the tip

I agree, you'll want to go vertical flow if you ever want to make any real power.  Treadstone makes a couple decent ones for mid-power cars, but Bel cores are top-notch if you want to make your own.

I'll have to swap it after our deadline. We have less then 3 weeks left on the table, swapping the IC set up may be more difficult then necessary right now. I'll need to build my trans and forge my motor if I want to run higher then 8 psi on my compression. This is a daily driver, so the 600rwhp goal I have right now is plenty.

The intake is rated to 800, but if its going to rob power I will swap it regardless.

Just some odds and ends getting tydied up.
Car will be back in 10 days!!

Have about 1500$ worth of minor but critical parts on their way to Sheldon.
Corvette accessory drive for the procharger, bunch of AN fittings for fuel, tubing and silicone couplers for the IC

-Mustang rack mounts braced
-Brake lines need to be flared
-Clutch pedal is welded and reinforced (common problem on these)
-Master Cyl installed
-Pedal installed
-Throttle cable ran
-Rear subframe reinstalled

Sheldon plans on doing the Engine and Trans tonight.
I'm driving out there tomorrow to drop off a few more parts. Vette Alternator, PS pump, and bracket.

So obviously no car yet.
We extended the bond until the end of April but hope to have the car back this Sunday.

Ronin 8.8 should be shipping out sometime this week or next, which means the car will come home shortly and go right back up to him for that install.

I'm interested to see how that trans mount holds up.  The sheet metal on the RX8 trans tunnel is super thin. It'll give you a lot more room for exhaust though.

There is a 2x3" plate on the opposite side its connected to.
He ran the same brace last year and it held up perfectly through potholes that he thought bent his rim.
