I've done maybe 5-10 races.  Bought the monthly subscription for a buck to be nice.

This is a little off putting though.  This was my first "quick race."  Why did I lose?

Because you're bracket racing? :P

They're still working out some glitches. You can talk to the guy directly on YB or the No Limit FB page to report any problems. Really nice guy. I had a glitch that reset all my trans ratios to 3.62 and he helped me out. I'm in the 5.60s at 250+ now. Very fun and addicting game

I've just been playing some more. When do adjustments start becoming important?

I've got nitrous and ET streets and adjustable suspension. I made a dozen test passes and my 60 foot doesn't move much with the changes. I kind of regret buying the suspension.

Ecu is big because it allows you to adjust shift points and launch rpm, transmission is also helpful. I regeared mine to be a 4spd

Only thing I've been able to change and seen a difference for suspension is the tire pressure

My biggest gripe is how long it takes to stage and how wrong the bottom bulb reaction time is. It's a cool game though I'll keep missing with it.

I'm way too ADD for how long it takes to stage. They shortened the time in the latest update though.

I tried it - you can't even win once without spending money for upgrades.

That's what I didn't like too. So do you have to constantly spend money to progress?

You can tell this was done by YellowBullet when a Shelby GT500 is so low on the power front:

Only issue is there is really no challenge. I built a 5.2x car in a matter of 2-3 days. Now theres no reason to play it anymore. Im probably sitting on $150k.

No you don't need to spend money.  I thought so too on my first attempt.  Basically you can go back and race former opponents in the career mode to build up some cash.  You can scroll left and right at both the "select a championship" screen and the "select an opponent" screen.  The earliest opponents you can beat with a dead stock car.

I'm trapping 238 mph or so on the world championship level.  Assuming I'm down to playing with settings to find that last 20 mph as I seem to have bought every advance mod possible.  Definitely a fun game though.

you're running 5.20s and you're bored? I'd be grudge racing in multiplayer like a mofo with that combo
