I wouldnt get it.  You can buy one of these rollers that has a swap kit already for 8000 and then find ur drivetrain.

I think it's a good deal if it wasn't a salvage...

Is this something you will sell or keep? I'd go for it... Then sell the LT1 and swap it out when you are ready

Id pry keep for a bit and drive it around and possibly sell later on. Pry be harder for resale value with salvage title.

I don't know why anyone cares about a salvage title.  I care about how it was reassembled if it was a crash.  If it was a flood or theft, whooptie do, it's been torn apart anyway.

I'm more concerned about half ass swaps than salvage titles.   That ones looks screwed together pretty well from the pictures.  Better than average at least.

I base the salvage title on resale down the road, thats my only reasoning for it

At 10k asking,  I think it's a good deal regardless.    These cars aren't great flips  most of the time.

Salvage/Rebuilt titles aren't a huge thing for me really either especially on a car in the 90's or older doesnt really matter. But for resale purposes it maybe harder to do because of that. Some people care and some don't
