what was that kick ass volvo rat rod we saw on the south side a few years ago?  the one with the supercharged (i believe) ls truck motor and the air ride and all that.

LOL, that doesn't really hit the "more practical" button, but it is pretty awesome.

Pro touring style Jaguar XJS with a fabricated intake and custom fuel injection system.  You can find them really reasonable on CL http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/4516577614.html
It would be worth it just to hear that V12 sound....

I've always wanted a lowered 2WD XJ with an LS power plant. It may be happening for a tow vehicle soon.  :drive:

To each his own but I would like my 66 oldsmobile starfire back..

Or try a Lincoln Conti on bags....baller.

Different either way from a normal car, and plenty of room for power!

I'd roll a Lincoln conti hardtop immediately.

My friend had one about 12 years ago in good shape, all stock. It was his grandpa's and he was going to sell it to me until I told him what I wanted to do with it. Then he wanted to keep it for himself.

I love the old Lincolns like that, but they are MASSIVELY huge and I think a MINI Cooper is a decently large car, haha.

Full tube chassis for the 7. There is a project right there. Then you finish all the fab work, transfer the goods and the panels over.
