Try reducing your front toe maybe cut it in half. You could go with 1/16" out in front as well if you have upgraded suspension bushings. I'd reduce the camber down to the general recommendation as well and see how the car responds. You'll probably notice the turn in of the car improve a bit.

The car will probably pick up some front grip just from reducing the camber in front as well.

I am running powerflex bushing.

I'll plan on trying -1.2 and see how it responds.

Yea I am interested to hear how the car responds. Be ready to adjust tire pressures.

I have not been very good at updating this thread so I am going to backtrack a little.  Over the winter I completely redid my interior switching from Tan to Black.  I never minded the tan but after 17 years of ownership, I wanted something new.  Here is what I did:

Stereo: New amp - JL Audio 600/4 amp
JL audio 10TW3 Sub in a custom box in spare tire well - Main focus to be easily removable for track days
Keeping MB quart front and Alpine Head-unit

Sub volume measurement:

Fiberglass box with plywood top:

Final result:

Amp & Battery install:

Lightweight sound deadening material and battery tray:

Amp installed using rubber standoffs and all wiring for battery and speakers:

I decided to recover the headliner, a-pillars, Rear bins and center console in suede instead of trying to find black.  I worked at an upholstery shop for a few years while I was in high school so I had experience in recovering upholstery.  It had been about 15 year but I figured it would come back to me.  Austin at ESH Upholstery was nice enough to sell me a few yards of foam back and non-foam backed suede.  I would have probably just let him do it but shipping costs would have been a lot for the headliner and bins.    I used DAP HHR contact adhesive, sprayed on with a gun. http://www.yourautotrim.com/noname37.html

The hardest part on the headliner was removing the old tan vinyl and foam.  You have to be pretty gentle and carful as you can easily ruin the fragile headliner.  Once all the foam is removed, I rough cut the material and then sprayed both surfaces with the adhesive.  Once the contact adhesive dried to a very low tack, I carefully covered the headliner.  One trick is to put paper on the areas you don’t want to stick and work your way around removing the paper.  I also had my wife helping holding the material up.  I got it perfect the first try, was extremely happy.  I will be honest, if you have never done this before, I would take it to someone….

The bins were a little easier, I just sanded everything down and then sprayed it with contact adhesive.  I smoothed out the lock  on the passenger side.  I am planning on making smooth covers down the road.

I still have need to buy/install SpeedHut gauges and repaint all the interior panels.  I am not a fan of the textured finish so I have been struggling with what to do with them.  I am leaning towards a smooth, satin dark charcoal gray to set off all the black.

More updates to come!

Had a good weekend with the car!  Went to a car show on Saturday, first one in a very long time.  Got lots of compliments and attention, I have to admit it felt good.

Then I got to the track on Sunday to test out the new suspension settings.

I ended up with -1.2 Camber front and rear, zero toe in the rear and 1/16" total tow out in the front.

First impressions, turn in is way better.  The car doesn't understeer at all anymore but I does seem to want to oversteer with only moderate throttle input and even on high speed corners with modulated throttle input.

Tire temps were pretty consistent, 15- 20 degrees higher inside compared to outside.  The car did feel more hooked up than before but I was definitely a little more hesitant to get on the throttle.  Before the car would just squat and go.

The other thing I should mention is that this was the first time at this track so I spent most of the day learning the track.  I don't think I'm going to change much before I go back to my usual track in a few weeks.

I need to get a few videos edited...

But all and all, I am finally really enjoying the car!

Oh, and I got to test out the tow hook I made, because I spun in the first session and for some reason when I went to restart, it popped my main fuse.  Started right up after that...

That's awesome.... Feels great to be acknowledged for all the hard work you put in.
Also I'm happy to hear that your getting it all setup, I think that's the biggest issue I have.  Getting it running and going to the track and thinking it's going to be perfect the first try.  It takes time and patience to get it all set to where you like it.
Congrats and keep at it[emoji106]

Nice. How much rear toe did you have before? My car gets really edgy on high speed turns with not enough rear toe. It is good on tighter tracks though.

It did feel okay on the tighter turns,  I mainly noticed it on a long sweeper. I had about 3/32 total toe-in on the rear before, maybe I will try to add a touch to see how it feels.

Thanks!  It definitely takes some time and tinkering but that is half the fun.  Making changes and seeing how they affect everything.  Also, I am learning that even with the setting not perfect, my car is a monster on the track.  Got lots of compliments at the track too.

Well I guess my advice is that if it starts getting loose or unstable on power, especially on corner exit, add some rear toe in. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to fix it with shock settings, springs and air pressure. I think as you get more comfortable with the car and start finding more speed you'll need more stability. You'll loose a bit of turn in response while entering a corner, and the car won't change directions quite as crisply, but it is worth it being able to feed the throttle in earlier and harder with as much power as you have.

You'll really be amazed at what 1/8" will change.

I found some time to address a couple things that I have been meaning to do for some time.  I hate the gap on the sides of the Samberg radiator so I decided to make some fiberglass "diverteres" to help direct more air into the radiator and also fill the gap aesthetically.

First I covered the opening in tape.  I used cardboard to create the curve (the carboard on the left is to hold the bumper open slightly:

Then started laying down fiberglass:

and pulled them out and added a couple more layers of fiberglass:

Note- I suck at progress pics but this is after trimming, 2-3 coats of fiber filler and glazing compound.  I just sprayed them with satin black and a satin clear coat.  I think they came out great!

Next up, duct my Oil cooler.  I should have done this a long time ago but just kept putting it off.  I used thin aluminum and had rubber edging to seal against the bumper.  Took some time to make my cardboard template first!

Finally installed my front extended wheel studs:

I had issues on my last track day with the rear brake rotors cracking so I added some rear brake ducts.  They seemed to work very well on my last track day:

(Note I used rivets cause I didn't feel like getting a new tank of Argon for my mig...)

Bad ass work!

What did you use for scoops for the rear ducts? I have some wide shop vacuum attachments from the Home Depot Racing Center for mine.

I used these https://www.howeracing.com/ShoppingCart.aspx?add=true&ReturnUrl=showproduct.aspx%3fProductID%3d7734 for the rear and trimmed the bottom flange off. There is a flat spot on the chassis that I then PEM nutted the duct to. The duct is for 3" hose and I'm only running 2 1/2" so I slit the duct and clamp it down on the hose. It actually works pretty well. If I remove my rear hubs again I will probably try squeeze 3" ducts back there. I don't see this happening anytime soon though.
