One more thing, I know people ask about insurance a lot so I thought this might be relevant.  I switch from Hagerty to Grundy insurance.  I went from 24K of coverage for $540 a year to 30K in coverage to $222 a year.  And they seem to be a little more lax on the restrictions....

Spent a good part of the day getting everything wired up, so far all works and looks good on the gauges.   The issues I am having are on the warning lights.

Check Engine lamp - Not working, no idea why....

ABS Light - Not working, I believe the wire pulled out of the bulb.. Grrrr

Brake light- Works but is on constantly, even when hand brake is released. Any thoughts on this?

Accusump warning light- Works but I kinda jury-rigged the incandescent bulb and I am not super happy with it.  Probably going to redo-this.

Progress!  Was able to work on it for a few hours this afternoon and was able to get all the warning lights working.

Check engine- my fault, tapped wrong wire.

ABS - wire in LED pulled out, installed new LED.

Brake light- turns out this warning light won't work with an LED. Switched to incandescent bulb.

All and all I am about 75% happy with the way the warning lights turned out. I might redo it at some point to make the lighting more consistent.

Would an LED work with a resistor maybe? Draw a little more perhaps?

The ones that I purchased actually have a resistor already installed, i thought that might help but it didn't.  I didn't try an additional resistor.

I got the gauge cluster installed today and so far, everything looks good. I couldn't be happier with the paint and gauges!  Again, pictures don't do it justice. They definitely make it look lighter.

Me Too!  :gruffy:

I got them all programed, still need to verify the fuel gauge is reading correctly but all looks good so far!  Now just waiting on my passenger side handle from EHS Upholstery to get the passenger side door panel buttoned up!

Next up.. Turning the green into Static grey to match the interior!

Your interior came out super nice bud, motivating me to finish up my speedhuts, your car is looking really tidied up and complete.

Small update, I received my grab handle back from EHS Upholstery and couldn't be happier with the way it turned out:

I will paint the back side when I redo the engine parts.

And I also received my new seat from EHS for my CB450 Cafe.

One step forward two steps back.... I tried my AC a few weeks back and nothing, turns out I have a slow leak somewhere and the majority of refrigerant leaked out over the winter.  AND some of my filled areas are showing through on my interior.  It happened after it sat in the sun and got pretty hot.. I knew I should have baked the pieces at 150 degrees instead of just putting in the sun... GRRRRRR

These two things had me pretty frustrated a few weeks back and I started thinking do I want to sell?  I don't think I could, but started perusing used GTR's....

Anyways, I put some Dye in the AC system and have yet to find out where the leak is coming from... I really hope it isn't in the heater core...

As for the interior pieces, I really don't feel like respraying them at the moment so it is just driving me nuts...

Cool bike.   8)

Thanks!  The thing is actually really fun, almost more than the car just because I don't find myself doing things that have the potential to get me arrested.  I have really bad impulse control with my cars throttle pedal...

Also, I am working on building a new 12' x 20' deck on my house.  Should be pouring the columns tomorrow.  Pics of that project coming up!

One of my lines has a leak at the crimp. Was a slow leak and I couldn't find it. Then it was a fast and loud leak. Froze some plastic lol.
