Cody! It's been 90 days since an update... and it's 70 degrees in November.

I know the weather isn't keeping you from working on it!   :bacon:

Yesss, I know! lol. Been quietly gathering parts and doing little stuff when I can. Took a break from the car for a couple weeks in order to insulate/finish the garage so it should be more tolerable in the winter.

I'll post some picture updates of the car once I finish the fuel system.

Here's how the garage turned out...

Looking good. I can absolutely say that having a clean comfortable environment contributes to building a quality product.  I don't like clutter, being cold, sweating my ass off or being rushed.

Good stuff!!  Keep it up.  :drive:

How does the magnum shift compared to the audi? Unless your is a flappy paddle  :banghead:

For sure man! I'd love to put a face to the username with all the locals. Thanks for the compliments!

RS4's only came with a 6 speed in the US so no paddles here.  ;) I can't compare since the FD isn't running/driving yet. I believe GNX7 has driven both so he's probably a better person to ask.

As for the build, the Walbro 420 pump is in, gas tank is all cleaned up and mounted. Front harness is back in with all the modifications, just need to pin everything I moved for the fuses/relays. Talk about a relief once everything lined up...I did not want to pull that harness back out. haha.

Should have all my teflon fuel hoses/fittings within the week so I can lay out the rest of the fuel system. That will just leave injectors/ECU and some random odds and ends before I can finally start this thing!

What are you planning on running for ECU?  HP Tuners or something more standalone?

After playing with all the software and comparing features, I'm going with the AEM Infinity 8H, which is now called the Series 5 ECU. Their combination of features (DBW, T/C, Flex Fuel) and having a plug and play harness solution for 58x LS engines makes the most sense for my goals.
