I would like to know what you guys are using to seal the hole where the ls1 harness comes through. I want to try and get it plugged up now while I have the dash and all the AC components out.there are also two holes were the original front harness came into the chassis on the driver side that I no longer use it's about two and a half inches and other one is about inch and a half anyone know where I can find some plugs to plug Thoes up.

I had the factory grommet put on the LS harness. I just stuck the factory grommets in all the other holes and sealed them off with black rtv silicone. I spent a bit searching for replacement blank grommets and had no luck.

I slit the stock Rx7 grommet and used that.

Hmmm what car did you find one from i really wanted to put on something new but like it was mentioned above i have had no luck finding caps that big. I was thinking of shaping one out of bondo and sealing it with rtv for the holes where the front harness came in through but as far as the pcm i have been stumped.

It is expensive for what it is but I used this grommet from summit. It easily stretched over the harness for installation. It has a 4 inch OD.

I pop riveted it to the firewall. I added an extra D shaped piece so I could pull the ECU plugs through the firewall if I ever had to.

I used a similar arrangement.  Not my favorite solution, but it works.

I am using the same grommet, I think I got the idea from your thread.
