Hey guys here's an update for the 1 person that follows my build lol

So I got my new intake in and throttle body. Turns out I missed a vacuum line so now to try to find it.

Thanks I have always wanted to paint it that colour. I had a friend spray the car and a couple friends help with body work so it's not a show car but I'm more than happy with it.

So much more work to do until it's really 100% but most of it stems from electrical issues. I tapped into my tach wire from the harness by passenger foot panel but don't get a signal at the dash still... That and re wiring my fuel pump are up next.

Also here is a weird one. I wired my starter to the key off the 12v switched wire by the key itself. Worked great 10 times then stopped working and the starter just clicked... Any ideas?

I have not. I have my starter straight off the key. No relay or anything. Never had an issue minus the 6 year old yellow top that was letting go. If it's not passing enough current you may want to look into a relay. Any 20A relay will work.

So with FB page being where i post most of my stuff i haven't updated this in forever but i wanted to bring it back to life a little.

My first 5.7 i blew up. I believe it was mostly because i built the motor myself and probably made some errors but also the motor was in an accident when i bought it so that could have causes some issues also.

So i picked up a 6.0 iron block and have been using that ever since. The motors been really good to me so far and the cars been working great.

Here are some photo updates.

Car is still looking really cool.   That's a nice combination on the FD lines, I like the white wheels.

Thanks guys,

I bought a new turbo for it this year but haven't gotten around to building manifolds etc. i decided to hold off a little and work on the cars drive-ability. a few knocks and noises to sort out and my steering could be better.
