Wow very nice... If I had the $$ I would drive to Cali for this car!  :-)

NOOOO!!! Selfishly I hope no one buys it so that I still get to see and go for rides in this beast.

I turned a few wrenches on this car and know the owner personally so I vouch for the owner and this car 10000%

The pictures and description do not do it justice at all, the cleanliness and meticulous nature that went into every single wire, nut, and bolt on this swap are ridiculous. Add that to the low original mileage of the chassis, high quality low mileage modifications and pristine drivetrain plus the fact that it is BAR'd make it worth every penny of the asking price and then some.

If you still have it when I get back in town I'll take some decent pics for you to post up.

GLWS!! Can't wait to see what you get into next.

Could you post pics of the stock manifolds/cats set up? Who was the work done by? Did you swap in the f-body gas tank or just adapt the evap/charcoal canister to the FD tank?

Thanks

All the work was done myself, minus the alignment and the dyno-tune. I am a mechanical engineer so hopefully that gives the new buyer a bit of peace and mind in regards to my swapping capabilities. I also took care of the wiring.
I am running the stock FD tank so I didn't have to significantly modify the body.

Waiting for deposit

Offline perf0rmance

Haven't heard from the potential buyer and thus, no deposit has been made.

Something I recently realized is that I failed to list the extra parts I'm including with the car.

*Brand New* Improved Racing oil adapter WITH thermostat
*Brand New* All oil lines and fittings to work with stock oil cooler
Apex Dual N1 exhaust (my exhaust system is modular = works with any exhaust designed for the stock FD exhaust system)
Shine Auto replica "RE-Amemiya" street diffuser (FRP)
*Brand New* Complete set of Stoptech Slotted rotors
Spare set of front calipers
*Freshly Refurbished* spare set of rear calipers (basically new)
Complete set of stainless steel brake lines

I have over $40k invested into this car. I am asking $32k

One area people forget to account for is labor. The only thing labor-related I paid for was getting the car tuned and the alignment. All wiring was done personally by myself. I did not pay someone else to do my wiring, which consists of a basic job and not to the detail that I have mine worked out to.

To recap, NOT interested in trades. I understand that there aren't very many people that have $32k ready to be dropped at a moment's notice. I realize I will have to wait for the right buyer to come along to pick up this one-of-a-kind build, which is fine with me.
Thanks again for looking.

I don't necessarily think finding someone with $32k is an issue, it is more finding someone with $32k that wants this specific car.  I think the real issue with the price is it is an ls1 car.  Typically cars in the $30k plus range are at minimum ls2/3, built engine, turbo, ls7, or some other more desirable features(rear end, built diff, brakes, etc)

Looks like a really clean car without a doubt, but over $30k might be difficult.

I don't know how many people you know that have $32k in cash ready to buy a toy but I can assure you it's far and few between. And yes, it'll take more time to find someone who wants to spend that much on this specific car. The crowd that will be most attracted to this car will more than likely be from California because it's smog legal. How many other swaps out there are for sale that are smog compliant with CA, have a low mileage chassis, and built in the last year of the model's production run? Would the "unicorn" (pearl white 94) pull more because of its rarity? That car also went under the knife for an LSX swap.

Is ANY LS swapped rx7 truly worth 35-40K regardless of how nice it is?
If someone is willing to pay it, then it is worth it.

Like I said,  I'm willing to wait for the right person.

Everyone knows what it takes to build swapped FD.
Has anyone really considered how much they're willing to spend on a chassis alone?

Please find me a mint fd with interior for 4k and I will buy it.. Thanks.
Every roller I have ever seen in that price range is shit.

If I have to part out my car a bit, I may do that. The upgrades I've done are fairly common so they might be something the potential new owner would want such as 99+ tail lights, 99+ steering wheel and JDM armrest. I'm not in a rush to sell the car so I have not changed anything.

If someone wants to negotiate, I'm willing to talk. However, I've received numerous offers for $25k, which is much less than I'm willing to accept and not currently interested in removing part at the moment.

I welcome anyone with positive comments or interests to post, otherwise, I ask that you please remain a spectator.

Thank you

Fine example of well put together LSX RX7, Im actively watching this thread in the mere hopes that this car remains available in a couple months. Work has me across the water currently.  Best of luck with the sale in the mean time!

Beautiful FD, and a fine example of what a swapped car SHOULD be!

I have a question. On the title and/or registration, is it listed as 1.3L rotary engine or 5.7L V8? I am asking since you passed the BAR exam.

Also, are all interior plastics in good shape? Any loose pieces or any pieces with broken tabs? My biggest problem when I owned a LSX FD was the interior so that is why I am asking. haha.

Thank you sir. If it's meant to be yours, then it shall be here waiting. Hopefully you come back sooner rather than later!

Title hasn't changed under my ownership, at least, not to my knowledge. I do not see why it would change but that's an interesting point.
The registration does not refer to my engine at all. The car has a BAR sticker for CARB and SMOG compliance. That's where information is detailed about the engine.

Interior is in great shape. No loose pieces that I'm aware of. Feel free to check out the car, it's much more impressive in person than most people think it would be. Weather stripping and such are in great condition and things of that nature can really only be appreciated in person.

Thank you for the answers. The reason why I asked about the title and/or registration is because:

1. I am unfamiliar with whole BAR process so I thought maybe the changes were reflected on the registration information

2. It's a long shot but I am trying to see if I can import your car to Korea, but we have emissions laws that are at least as strict as CA's. I have the funds and am seriously interested in owning another LSX FD but the only hurdle is the laws in Korea. I thought about doing the swap here in Korea but the costs to import everything add up to be much more than a well built FD. :(

By the way, did you pass the BAR exam with your current cam setup? How loud is the exhaust(I'm talking about emissions setup. If you can give me decibel numbers, that would also be very helpful in determining whether this car would pass)? Will it be able to pass the sniffer test with current map + emissions equipment only or do you have to reload the stock map?
