I don't necessarily think finding someone with $32k is an issue, it is more finding someone with $32k that wants this specific car. I think the real issue with the price is it is an ls1 car. Typically cars in the $30k plus range are at minimum ls2/3, built engine, turbo, ls7, or some other more desirable features(rear end, built diff, brakes, etc)
Looks like a really clean car without a doubt, but over $30k might be difficult.
I don't know how many people you know that have $32k in cash ready to buy a toy but I can assure you it's far and few between. And yes, it'll take more time to find someone who wants to spend that much on this specific car. The crowd that will be most attracted to this car will more than likely be from California because it's smog legal. How many other swaps out there are for sale that are smog compliant with CA, have a low mileage chassis, and built in the last year of the model's production run? Would the "unicorn" (pearl white 94) pull more because of its rarity? That car also went under the knife for an LSX swap.
Is ANY LS swapped rx7 truly worth 35-40K regardless of how nice it is?
If someone is willing to pay it, then it is worth it.
Like I said, I'm willing to wait for the right person.
Everyone knows what it takes to build swapped FD.
Has anyone really considered how much they're willing to spend on a chassis alone?
Please find me a mint fd with interior for 4k and I will buy it.. Thanks.
Every roller I have ever seen in that price range is shit.
If I have to part out my car a bit, I may do that. The upgrades I've done are fairly common so they might be something the potential new owner would want such as 99+ tail lights, 99+ steering wheel and JDM armrest. I'm not in a rush to sell the car so I have not changed anything.
If someone wants to negotiate, I'm willing to talk. However, I've received numerous offers for $25k, which is much less than I'm willing to accept and not currently interested in removing part at the moment.
I welcome anyone with positive comments or interests to post, otherwise, I ask that you please remain a spectator.
Thank you
