It has been a while, wow how time files.
I do have some updates. I ran the crap out of the car last year attending multiple drift events and driving it on the street; I had no issues other than getting hot while sitting still. I still need to look into some better cooling/fan options. I also added a large scoop to cover the hole in the hood; I'm not really ecstatic about how it looks, but I don't think it looks terrible.
I came to the conclusion I needed more power and in different areas than a stock truck motor could provide. That prompted the winter project to kick off... I picked up a set of Trick Flow twisted wedge 170's with 58cc chambers, Comp Cams XE274HR, roller rockers, MSD 6AL, and other bits to facilitate the install.
I have to say it's a completely different experience now. The power comes on hard immediately, and pulls strong up to 6k unlike the 4,500 rpm brick wall I used to have with the truck cam and stock heads. It feels way stronger now with much more power.
@Ffjosh: If you have any specific questions/concerns, or want any more detailed pictures of anything let me know. Overall I am happy with the swap.
