If that was the truth, then shame is him being in a car where someone is wanting to show off their fNf car pushing the limits and him not wanting to be a pussy and saying" hey slow the fuck down".

Because in the end that fuck head couldn't handle his car and Paul didn't speak up soon enough to let him know that the situation was out of control.

It was a CGT, it may have just been a matter of someone making a mistake.   Not hard for a high horsepower car to get away from you.

Yeah situations like this make me think twice before I bury my right foot on the street. We don't know what happened and how it was handled. Even the best drivers fall victim to Murpy's law. Scary thing is our cars our lighter in weight than the C GT and  some our just as powerful.

You never know what can happen....very sobering thing.

I've said some nasty things about the actors acting in the past but I did enjoy that he had a genuine car passion. I was in highschool when the first fast and furious came out. In that the actor will always have a place in my memory. Sad to see him go. I wonder how far they were with the next film when this happened. The next premier is going to be an emotional one for sure.

Not much consolation but from my experience it looks like the passenger died on impact and didn't suffer in the fire.  Driver, can't really say.
