Nice job Blake but you are doing it all wrong. I don't see the proper combination of blue butt connectors and t-taps or the all important usage of single color wiring throughout (gauge choice is of no importance). ;)
I do love what I do!

Those pics look very similar to my garage floor right now.  Curt and I are working on it and we also laughed at how there is no pass side wiring and the wiper motor wires are 40' long.

Been a little slow due to work (several 30 hour days the past few weeks).    I have the front harness redone minus a few tweaks,  working on the fuse box relocation now.    I will get pics up Sunday.   :)

Okay, Sunday sucked, but here we go.    Taking a short break from the chassis harness (i want to validate it on Nick's car once he tears into it a bit), so...   engine harness!

Sorry the pics are a little washed out, I was in a hurry during the photo taking (had to do a network redesign for work at 22:00 tonight) so I just used my phone.  :P

I'm very happy with how this is coming out.  Tres requested heat shrink for it all, so this is done in a high-flexibility polyolefin shrink.   :)

LOL.   Haven't done much on this, Tres is getting some work done on the car which I need in order to get good measurements to make everything fit nicely.  :)

There will be more pictures and progress soon.   :)   I will post up some pictures from a couple harnesses that have been completed in the meantime.

That's very nicely done Blake - Wiring Harness when doing swaps like this is probably the toughest part. Would'nt you say?

Sure - Fabrication and making things fit can be cumbersome but wiring can be a nightmare.

Tres has been working on getting the chassis/engine side progress so that he can get me final locations/decisions on things so that I can finish up the engine harness.   I'll throw up some pictures of the chassis harness this weekend, it's basically done.  :)

I did this to.my fd but i kept abs but basically did.the same only lights fan power and parking lights go to to the front abs wipers and all that go along the fire wall and back out the other side. It was a pain in the arse.

 :lurk:

Looking at doing similar but not sure what to take out.  Might hook up the LS1 standalone loom in time and everything unused afterwards will come out.  Unless I get an idiot/dummy guide to follow I'm a little nervous about getting stuck into the front loom.

Okay, so it's been...    10 months, haha.

Tres made some tweaks to the configuration so we had to hold off on completing this for a while, but here is the engine harness nearly completed:

I will be adding the mil-spec bulkhead connectors shortly.     All of the chassis harnesses are completed/labeled/loomed and ready to rock.    I'll get some pictures of those in the near future when I get them all unboxed/laid out so that I can end-to-end test all of the wires (it's almost as fun as it sounds!).
