Looks like GM is planing on putting together a LT1 crate engine package.  What is your guys opinions on this?  Will it truly be worth it to choose the new LT1 over a probably cheaper LSx option?

I just saw a graph on facebook that showed what a cam can do for the new LT1 engine and it certainly peaked my interest in this new platform...

You can build one heck of an LS or traditional SBC for the $15k-$20k one of those crate motors will end up setting you back.  An LS7 crate engine from GM is $17k with no accessories but a water pump.
